The pineapple cake is probably due to using extracts and flavoring. the artificial taste wore off after they were chilled. I ended up like the pineapple the most (cold version). I will try these next: Betty Crocker sprinkle cake/birthday cake Duncan Hines Red Velvet
May 8, 20205 yr @Enrico_sw do you use demi-glace sauce? I have a lot of bottles but I've never used it.

It's simple but really good. That's what my grandmother used to do. I've already made demi-glace sauce (which is reduced fond de veau with tomatoes and oignon) and I quite like it, but it's longer to prepare. BTW, it's much better to prepare it yourself than to buy it. Industrial sauces usually have a lot of sugar and fresh products always taste better.
May 10, 20205 yr Just had the best brisket taco I've ever had. The brisket was smoked on site and the tortillas were homemade.

I am not quite sure how to use it. I have a case of this sauce, leftover inventory given to me- didn't buy it lol.

I've always wanted to try Russian Honey Cakes, but I don't live an area that has authentic Russian cuisine.
