It was a lot better than Batman Forever and Batman & Robin, that's for sure.

But my favs are still the original Batman and Batman returns (in that order).

Those are about the Joker and the Penguin/Catwoman. Batman Begins is about Batman - and he's the best superhero.

That's true I guess. But I like the general atmosphere of the original two more. But Bale is probably the best actor they have gotten to portray Bruce Wayne/Batman.

Tim Burton is a hit or miss director. I'm really not a fan of his work - but there are some who are. It's an acquired taste, I'd think.
