Tks for interview :)

And some people don't know how lucky they are, lol. But she regrets, so...  :p

Whitney Port turned down Leonardo Dicaprio because she was ‘too nervous’ to have a ‘one night stand’

The 34-year-old reality star admitted she had a wild night with Leonardo DiCaprionearly a decade ago and turned down his advances after six months of texting.

'And then Leo comes up to you to also ... insinuated that, like, he had missed the week priors episode,' Andrea recalled. 'And you're like, is he telling me that he watches The City? This is very confusing, but also incredible.'

Andrea said 'there was a phone number exchange' before the ladies walked to another club with Leo and his pals.

'I remember dancing alone on the dance floor because you were in the corner talking to him and I didn't want to intrude, but also like couldn't leave,' Andrea said.

'I feel like I was getting drunk at that point,' Whitney said. 'I don't remember ... it's such a shame.'

Their night out wasn't the end of the road for Whitney and Leo as she revealed the pair had a 'BBM relationship for like six months' before meeting up again in LA.

At the time, Blackberry smart phones were a popular accessory and people regularly used Blackberry Messaging (BBM) as a way to text friends.

'He invited me out to Teddy's and he invited me back over to his house and I said no,' Port revealed.

Andrea loved the story and laughed as she asked if Whitney was the only girl to ever turn down DiCaprio.

'I was too nervous,' Whitney said. 'I had never had a one-night stand. I didn't want to be with him alone.

'I was way too nervous to do it and then I lost my chance and it's really one of my bigger regrets in life. If you didn't think I was cool, now you probably do.'

Guys, I kindly ask you to keep avoiding spoilers because I don't know when I will be able to watch the movie.  THANKS!    :flower:

Hopefully we'll see ALL of this interview at some point, but it is , for me, the 1st time I've seen someone ask him about being put off Romper Room

That unfortunately comes with the territory of fame. So true, and it’s sad really. It’s like if a person doesn’t like him, then don’t pay attention to what he’s doing. He’s living his life  :)

Right on 👍🏻

My short review with NO SPOILER @BarbieErin ;)

01. Easily my 2nd or 3rd favorite Tarantino movie (#1 is still Inglourious Basterds, not sure about Django and OUATIH maybe they're equal)

02. Leos performance: on the level of Wolf of Wall Street/The Revenant = hilarious and shockingly undaunted; oscar worthy

03. Not sure if I actually LIKED Rick Dalton but I loved his pureness and honesty and sometimes ugliness because the truth is ugly sometimes especially in hollywood and he wasn't ashamed to show all his fears especially to Cliff; I think you have to be very brave to hide nothing in front of others

04. I want to have sex with Cliff Booth (he's so fit, and cool, and loyal, and handsome, ooomg, I'm your pussycat every day LOL)

05. I was glad I had some historical background infos (about Tate, Manson, etc otherwise I would have been highly lost storywise)

06. Sometimes I wished Tarantino had done a bit less scenes on the movie sets and a bit more of Rick and Cliff together, same for married Rick, same for Margot Robbie/Tate

07. I LOVED the dynamic of Leo and Brad

08. I laughed a LOT

09. The ending: one word AWESOME

10. terrific soundtrack

11. even more terrif cast

12. wait for the credit scene, it's worthy

13. Is it one of my favorite Leo movies? Hard to say. I will tell you when I've watched it again :p

P.S.: cinema was filled and even the movie is like 95% talking and 5% action everyone was very attentive, much laughter (I think the one with the most/loudest laughter was the Bruce Lee scene and one of Leos scenes but I don't say which one, too much of a spoiler).

And everyone was like aaaaw in this scene:

I wasn't aware of who he was or what he starred prior to reading pre viewing interviews,  and then I went to IMDB and saw all the many shows /etc he was in years ago

^Great interview. But the one question, Leo being more serious, Brad being less thoughtful Brad seems uncomfortable as hell with, poor guy. After all his recent (private) problems maybe not the most empathetic question. But beside from this interesting, refreshing questions :PinkCouture2:

According to this article from Screen International, Once seems to have opened well in UK

Hopefully the film does well in all the international markets as it rolls out in coming days/weeks  👍

Quote

Once Upon A Time… has already made a stellar start to its UK run. Provisional figures from its opening two days put it at £2.4m, with £1.4m from Wednesday and a further £1m from Thursday.

The figures are still to be finalised but if they remain at those levels, the Wednesday will mark Tarantino’s single biggest-grossing day ever. The three-day session Friday-Sunday looks set to challenge the director’s best opening weekend, which remains Inglourious Basterds on £3.6m.

If there is a 4 hour version, the scene I hope they add back  :p

Thanks Jade for the review and thanks Sliva, Barbie and ox for the links, clips and news!

I would have definitely hooked up with Leo :p. Hell yeah, his fine ass.

That interviewer was quite rude to Brad in my opinion...  I understand he was trying to make a parallel with their different personalities but that question: is there anything in there? Brad seems uncomfortable and Leo even looks to the side and down.

They predicted OUATIH wouldn't be in the top 5 anymore - but well :p:thumbsup:

The movie made Tarantinos 2nd best opening in germany and it's #1 right now, no chances for Toy Story 4 (f*ck you disney!!) ;) Only Django did better.
