During his visit, Leo and associates other actors, Adrien Brody (actor Jack Driscoll in the film KINGKONG) and Fisher Stevens and his crew to witness firsthand the biodiversity in Ketambe Research Station, Southeast Aceh Regency. Oscar at the 88th Academy Awards is lucky to have met with three Sumatran Orangutan (Pongo abelii) grown in a location not far from the research camp. Leo was very amazed by the beauty of the forest Gunung Leuser National Park in SP Ketambe and hear the sounds of hornbills and other bird species. For nearly two hours he spent to watch the behavior of the Sumatran Orangutan (Pongo abelii), wildlife 97% genetically similar to humans. The arrival of Hugh Glass cast in the movie The Revenant was greeted enthusiastically by local residents. Leo and a helicopter carrying the team landed in SMA Negeri 1 Ketambe.
