December 4, 200816 yr The Special One hasn't especially endeared himself to Inter fans and the Italian press corp, perhaps he can make his triumphant return in the premiership with Man City?
December 5, 200816 yr But summing everything, he is head and shoulders above "that stupid French NT coach", and no matter how much I went against Rijkkard in the past, I have always rated him higher than "it." "it"! but I thought "it" referred to the ex-valencia "coach" that could not be named. Come up with another name :persuazn: It referrs to "it" indeed. I guess I'll have to come up with a new name! . . . errrrmmmm, . . . how about "shit" Looks like we are getting the best out of the Premier League derbies so far. :hell yea!:I can't wait when our teams will go against each other. :knives: I'm really really REALLY pessimistic about Liverpool's chances Ohh Crap! <_< He's England's Brace John Terry. He can get away with murder. He has gotten away with murder in some of the games I've seen him play :| This one was pretty much a murder as well. Usually if players lift both of their feet in the tackle, they get booked even w/out any contact. Sagna is lucky that his foot was in the air, cause that could've had been a season (maybe even career) ending tackle. Madrid have Huntelaar now, but I can't understand why Tevez is being benched so much this year. I reckon he'd be a perfect foil for Torres Tevez-Torres (it sounds like a stage name) would have been a perfect offensive duo, but I doubt that ManU will give up on Tevez so easily, or at least they'd block his move to other teams of "big4". I was actually having thoughts about mabe Liverpool shall make a move on Podolski. Looks he'll leave Bayern when the transfer window opens up, and there are trade rumors beetwen Bayern, and Köln of Bundesliga (Köln offered to give them cash, plus a player, but I forgot who he was). Anyway, I think he'd much more rather to play in a top Premier League team, then in a mediocre Bundesliga team, and probably even Bayern would preffer to send him out of Germany. But I think he'll be a perfect fit in Liverpool. He will make a great duo with Torres, and Liverppol actually needs some lefties. I'd like to see Man City implode and Hughes leave in a blaze of fury. The Special One hasn't especially endeared himself to Inter fans and the Italian press corp, perhaps he can make his triumphant return in the premiership with Man City? I don't think Mourinho will leave Intter, or Inter will fire Mourinho in winter, at least not after they guaranteed making the next round in UCL. If City is going to get a new manager during the course of this season, I think Rijkaard is the most likely candidate to get it.
December 5, 200816 yr ^^ BTW astronomer, Arsenal had Senderos, and they gave him. They shall start using him more. -------------------- OK, just checked the scheduke, and LaLiga will be nuts in the next 5 weeks. Barcelona, Valencia, Villareal, Sevilla, and Real Madrid, will all play against each other, and the action starts tomorrow with the Barcelona-Valencia derby. Ed, I just wanted to remind that Barca averages 3 goals per game this season, and they are kicking ass day in, and day out. And I hope you've watched last weeks Valencia game, and seen how out of no action, and without the opponent players doing anything, we manged to nearly score an own goal, get a red card, commit a penalty, and blow the 2-0 lead. I hope this increased your pessimism And don't worry I'll definitely watch the whole game, and I won't even answer the phone, or go to pee. Maybe if we unite our powers, we may stand a chance. ---------------------------------- And I wish Real gets torched by Sevilla on Sunday.
December 6, 200816 yr Keane gone.Sad to see him go, but it's obviously something that's been on the cards for a while. He could maybe have been a great manager had he not doubted himself quite so much. Every week he'd be in the papers talking about how he'd signed poor players or got the team selection wrong. Compare that with somebody like Fergie - if his team lose he'll blame the ref, the FA, the media, even his own team's shirts given half the chance. Consequently the United players think Fergie's bullet-proof and trust his judgement. If the manager doubts himself, then the players start to doubt him as well. That's not my only criticism of Keane but I think it's probably the overriding factor here. But there is cause for optimism as well. We're now in a position to attract a good quality manager to the club and that's mostly down to Keane's groundwork.
December 6, 200816 yr Yeah i suppose so...& yeah I don't understand Fergie's reasoning either, some have said that he's slowly easing him out of the club, but after the interview he gave tonight i cant see Tev going anywhere soon.. The trouble with Tevez is that he's technically still only on loan at United. Okay, so nobody knows who from, but officially he's a loan signing at the moment. So at the end of the season, Fergie's faced with a choice - pay the £30m asking price for a player he seems to rate as his third choice striker, or let him move on, stick with Rooney and Berbatov and possibly bring in somebody a bit cheaper as a backup. There's no way I'd let Tevez go personally, but it's a lot of money to spend on a player who, rightly or wrongly, hasn't been used much this year The Special One hasn't especially endeared himself to Inter fans and the Italian press corp, perhaps he can make his triumphant return in the premiership with Man City? I could actually see him taking over at United eventually.
December 6, 200816 yr Perhaps Fergie will take pity on his old mate Roy Perhaps Fergie will take pity on his old mates Sbragia and Yorke
December 6, 200816 yr  United 1-0 Sunderland I'm nearly dead over here..How did it take us so long to score? :| Fair Play to Sunderland though for holding out so long.
December 6, 200816 yr It should be "The Serbinator," surely? A cruel way to lose it in the end but hey, it could have been worse at Old Trafford. I just noticed, this topic is up to page 4-4-2
December 7, 200816 yr It's funny that my two teams (Barca and Club Brugge) both played Valencia within the same week.
December 7, 200816 yr So Ed, Valencia B managed a draw against Club Brugge A. But Barca decimated Valencia Anybody has some good young defenders? Milan need a few Senderos It referrs to "it" indeed. I guess I'll have to come up with a new name! . . . errrrmmmm, . . . how about "shit" Ohh Crap! <_< My pessimism isn't working anymore Tevez-Torres (it sounds like a stage name) would have been a perfect offensive duo, but I doubt that ManU will give up on Tevez so easily, or at least they'd block his move to other teams of "big4". For sure. Especially after his 4 goals either. I was actually having thoughts about mabe Liverpool shall make a move on Podolski. Looks he'll leave Bayern when the transfer window opens up, and there are trade rumors beetwen Bayern, and Köln of Bundesliga (Köln offered to give them cash, plus a player, but I forgot who he was).Anyway, I think he'd much more rather to play in a top Premier League team, then in a mediocre Bundesliga team, and probably even Bayern would preffer to send him out of Germany. But I think he'll be a perfect fit in Liverpool. He will make a great duo with Torres, and Liverppol actually needs some lefties. Podolski has come out a few times saying that he wants to join Koln. I don't think we'll have the cash to afford Podolski considering our American owners might not be able to pay their next loan installment (Hicks & Gillett OUT!!! :anger:). Anyway, I'd rather see Babel being given more chances than spending money on Podolski. I'd rather a RW and a LB. No luck. I was as pessimistic about the game as I've ever been and we still got smashed 4-0 Oh how I hate Barca <_<
December 7, 200816 yr A cruel way to lose it in the end but hey, it could have been worse at Old Trafford I just noticed, this topic is up to page 4-4-2 :trout: It's funny that my two teams (Barca and Club Brugge) both played Valencia within the same week. And we only got 1 point from it all :persuazn:
December 8, 200816 yr The defenders have to be above 30 though Ancelotti is the anti-Wenger, it's all above 30 or forget it
