December 2, 200816 yr He was so incensed at the linesman for giving Van Persie's first goal that he took his frustrations out on Bacary Sagna's leg. Anybody else would have been off like a shot <_<
December 2, 200816 yr that sounds quite dangerous... doesn't help that it was at the bridge either i guess...
December 2, 200816 yr you've just mention Rijkaard and that stupid French NT manager in the same breath again Prepare for the wrath of SS *cowers* Oops, . . . I don't know why I took it as "If you ever compare them again..." eNe I've got nothing but love for you and all that, but if you ever, ever mention Rijkaard and Domenech in the same breath again... :|(we really need a "veins popping" smiley...) All I said was Rijkaard is better than Domenech. My navel fluff is better than Domenech. Rijkaard is a man who won the CL by playing some of the most exciting football of the past two decades. Raymond Domenech is a man who Forest-Gumped his way to a WC final. He was still messing around with the formation during the tournament! :| Well, I apologize for mentioning them in the same breath again, speaking of which haven't you actually done the same up there Anyway, I'm not a big Rijkaard fan, and never was, IMO he is an underachieveing coach, considering all the talent he had on his team. And while I completely agree that Barca played some of the most exciting football I've ever seen, he even switched Barcelonas classic formation of 4-3-3, to 2-5-3 (Sylvinho, and Belletti as WBs C'mon!!), and that IMO was too much. But summing everything, he is head and shoulders above "that stupid French NT coach", and no matter how much I went against Rijkkard in the past, I have always rated him higher than "it."
December 2, 200816 yr  :hell yea!:Another loss at the Bridge for Chelski Looks like we are getting the best out of the Premier League derbies so far. :hell yea!: I can't wait when our teams will go against each other. :knives: I can't believe Terry stayed on the pitch yesterday. The referees keep getting worse and worse. Just in this weeks action, they missed an obvious off-side position on vPersies goal, and than they allowed Terry to stay in the field. Also did anyone watch the manchester derby. Ronaldo's reaction after he got the 1st yellow was was worth to get a 2nd one, but the referee didn't sent him out, and than he sent Ronaldo out in a position that he shouldn't have had. And actually this week was better than the last week. There was a canceled goal of vPersie against M.City, which I still don't get what was wrong, and if any of you watched the Lazio-Genoa game, there was a canceled goal from Milito (due to off side situation), which I would have told that it wasn't off side even when I was 10. He was on side during the whole time of that attack. Plus in UCL this week Bendtner clearly controled the ball with his arm. This week the refs really helped us (Gunners).
December 2, 200816 yr that sounds quite dangerous... doesn't help that it was at the bridge either i guess... It was quite a bad one. I think Ivanovic was a probably bit lucky not to get a red as well. I can't believe Terry stayed on the pitch yesterday. I think the ref probably regretted not giving Ronaldo a red for the first couple of incidents, so after that he was waiting for any excuse to send him off. It seems like refs are reluctant to give out two yellows in quick succession - in fact, I can only remember seeing it happen twice (one was against Sunderland, of course) - but if the players commits two offences then I don't see a problem So I guess Ronaldo will be suspended for our game against them on Saturday. That just leaves us with Rooney, Berbatov, Tevez, Anderson, Nani, Carrick and who knows who else to worry about
December 2, 200816 yr that sounds quite dangerous... doesn't help that it was at the bridge either i guess...He's England's Brace John Terry. He can get away with murder.
December 2, 200816 yr So I guess Ronaldo will be suspended for our game against them on Saturday. That just leaves us with Rooney, Berbatov, Tevez, Anderson, Nani, Carrick and who knows who else to worry about No, he'll be there..He's only ruled out for the carling cup game tomorrow..
December 3, 200816 yr But summing everything, he is head and shoulders above "that stupid French NT coach", and no matter how much I went against Rijkkard in the past, I have always rated him higher than "it." "it"! but I thought "it" referred to the ex-valencia "coach" that could not be named. Come up with another name :persuazn: Looks like we are getting the best out of the Premier League derbies so far. :hell yea!:I can't wait when our teams will go against each other. :knives: I'm really really REALLY pessimistic about Liverpool's chances He's England's Brace John Terry. He can get away with murder. He has gotten away with murder in some of the games I've seen him play :|
December 3, 200816 yr So I guess Ronaldo will be suspended for our game against them on Saturday. That just leaves us with Rooney, Berbatov, Tevez, Anderson, Nani, Carrick and who knows who else to worry about No, he'll be there..He's only ruled out for the carling cup game tomorrow.. Perhaps Fergie will take pity on his old mate Roy
December 3, 200816 yr Maybe. ------------- Utd 5-3 Rovers Tevez with 4. :| Madrid are really gonna want him now.
December 4, 200816 yr Madrid have Huntelaar now, but I can't understand why Tevez is being benched so much this year. I reckon he'd be a perfect foil for Torres
December 4, 200816 yr Yeah i suppose so...& yeah I don't understand Fergie's reasoning either, some have said that he's slowly easing him out of the club, but after the interview he gave tonight i cant see Tev going anywhere soon..
December 4, 200816 yr Why would you ease Tevez out of a club. That's loco Which striking combo do you prefer?
December 4, 200816 yr I know right? Hmm, i don't really know, Tevez and Rooney were great last season, I haven't seen Berba and Rooney really link at all this season, it's probably because Rooney has had a rather patchy start...If those two could improve their partnership though. But then again, i wanna see Tev playing all the time because of his work rate...
December 4, 200816 yr who needs a midfield when you're scoring goals. Anyway, you have Rooney and Tevez defending from the top. How else does that lazy Portuguese winger get into so many scoring positions?
