Now, if you were to tell me that 'Arry was not the brightest of sparks or that he was a Del Boy-style wheeler-and-dealer then I would be inclined to agree, but, seriously, making wide-ranging and unfounded (some might say libelous) accusations against one really isn't very wise. And honestly, accusing Harry of being money grabbing, weeks after he turned down a lucrative deal with Newcastle, really isn't very clever, is it?

Nice literary reference too. You might just want to watch out though, as it could seem pretty crass painting Harry as Shylock, and playing on Tottenham's Jewish reputation, no?

Further to your comments regarding success and stability, I think that you'll find, to quote Deloitte, that Spurs are the most cost-effectively run team in the Premiership, and that not so long ago they recorded two consecutive fifth place finishes and won the Carling Cup. Now, this and last season really haven't been the best, but supporting a team owned by an American sugar daddy (and previously Doug Ellis), devoid of silverware and, until recently, barren of European football, really doesn't leave Villa with a leg to stand on when it comes to talk of success and stability.

Passing, passing & more passing! & lots of movement from all of the players...

It's all well and good when one player has lots of skill but if he doesn't know the right time to use skill & to give it off to a team mate then it'll never work for the team...

Also practice shooting with your team mates if that's an area they/you need to improve on..

at the moment we just dont seem to be able to shoot properly, and too much dribbling from one of our players...

I don't really know what you are having trouble with so I'll just comment in general. How's your touch? Touch and control are really important because of the limited space.

As for the shooting, its indoor so you don't need to whack it really hard, because accuracy is more important in smaller goals. Otherwise you guys should toe punt more because that ensures you get power with minimal back lift.

I think 5-a-side is all about movement personally and I would encourage improving your fitness, because once your fitness increases, almost everything else follows because you can move with off the ball runs, you can chase and pressure in defense, and you can keep your concentration for longer because you don't get tired as easily. Once you can run, it means you can start passing it around more and playing more 1-2s and supporting each other. (And try to encourage your team mate to pass more and dribble less. Beating a man is useful as it opens up space, but more often than not you won't be able to beat many more so encourage him to lay it off)

If you're still having trouble, I would probably suggest playing with some structure like a 2-2 or a 1-2-1 diamond formation.

yeah, definitely need to pass more, but the thing is, for some of us, whenever they got the ball, they wont look up again.

and I cant find a way to tell them, cos i'm the youngest in the squad..

Lionel ended up at Cambridge United, but after he retired he became a tennis instructor. He used to lay down his magic not far from where I used to play, in fact I often used to see him shouting 'Oui! Oui!' as he encouraged some 12 year-old girl's backhand.

The last time I saw him, he was working for a lower division club (it might have been Northampton, but I could be wrong about that) as a goalkeeping coach. They were featured on Match of the Day in a cup game a few years back and he was caught on camera poking one of the opposing coaches in the eye

Doug Ellis may have been a lot of things but since when did he leave us financially unstable? If anything his incredibly prudent nature led to the years of abject mediocrity.
