John Bull
Curbs and KK shouldn't have left Citeh = $$$ ...wonder when the Chelski fans will move to Manchester?
Michael*
I think United were crying out for another forward. I saw the Portsmouth game and although they had players missing through injury, the United bench was the weakest I've seen them name for years.A friend of mine who's a Hull fan (the poor soul) rates Campbell very highly, although to me he looks a little lightweight for the Premier League. I'm guessing he'll mostly act as a backup to Bent and Pavlyuchenko but his pace and goalscoring instincts should make him a useful sub. John Bull
True, but if Keane is worth £20m, then I'd happily pay 10m more for Berbs. Rooney-Tevez-Ronaldo-Berbs That's gotta be the best attack in the league!
John Bull
Cheers for the info on Frazier Campbell chaps. Michael*, as a Sundelrand fan what do you make of the Newcastle situation?
red_ed
Curbs left before he got sacked and 'King Kev' () left - without the pay-out that he desperately needs by the way - because the Newcastle situation is so so ridiculous. A club with Mike Ashley as chairman, Dennis Wise as director of football, and followed by 50,000-odd bare-chested, lobotomised Geordies is never going to work, to be frank. John Bull
West Ham have had their best Premiership start ever, but I guess if you don't have the backing of the fans or the board then it is inevitable.Btw, did you see the clip of Mike Ashley sculling a beer on MOTD? Impressive
Michael*
At least Hull don't have those horrible tiger pattern jerseys. I get scared just thinking about it. :yuckky:
Michael*
Michael*, as a Sundelrand fan what do you make of the Newcastle situation? I was just reading an article called 'The Madness of King Kev'. Apparently when they first discussed appointing him, he agreed that the best way forward was to build gradually and bring the young players through, using what Wenger has done at Arsenal as his guide. He then asked the board for £200 million and made plans to sign Thierry Henry, David Beckham and Sami Hyypia For all their fans' delusions of grandeur, I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel for them a bit. For the most part though, I'm just enjoying the circus
red_ed
They timed him - quite impressive! Also, Mike Ashley apparently spent £200,000 when he went out in New York, the night before Keegan quit! My friend used to live near Mike Ashley, and says that he used to be a Spurs fan. John Bull
"'Sometimes I lie in the bed with my players. I go to the room of [Vedran] Corluka and [Luka] Modric when I see they have a problem and I lie in bed with them and we talk for 10 minutes. You have to do it." -Slaven Bilic

John Bull
. . . You're so 6 months ago, Ed. They're all wearing tiger-pattern Hull shirts on the catwalks in Milan. . . . I reckon that it would complement my perfect cheek-bone structure actually. :brows: Are you really really really ridiculously good looking? *Le Tigre*

Michael*
^What I wouldn't give to see a re-recorded version starring Gerrard, Carragher and Torres. But what a shame Crouch left, he could have busted out his famous robot moves. A missed opportunity
