What the Sixers cannot do, the LAKERS CAN!!! Besides, what do you expect from the land of drivebys and palm trees? You didn't think the Lakers were gonna lose their just because Bynum went down. As much as it sucks, we just gotta hold down the fort till he returns. We took out the Celtics TWICE THIS YEAR!!! :blueeyedbaby: 12 game winning streak SNAPPED!!! Now, we gotta try to do what every other team has failed to do: Beat Cleveland at their floor.
February 6, 200916 yr That Lakers Celtics game was great. it came down to whos the better defensive player, Kobe or Pierce. Kobe clearly won that matchup. and "Big Baby" Davis didnt hit every single midrange shot like he did against us. i think that made a big difference as well.btw i think Chris Paul is really being left out of the MVP talk. has anyone ever watched the Hornets? i think hes more valuable to his team than any player is to theirs.

Lakers stopped a Celtics 19 game win streak on Christmas Day, stopped a 12 game win streak the other day, and now stopped the Cavs 23 game home winning streak. Might as well call the Lakers the STREAK STOPPERS!!! :blueeyedbaby: Everybody thought the Lakers were gonna struggle after Bynum went down. Kobe hasn't had a good game since he dropped 61 on the Knicks. Still, we find a way to win. Now, imagine how good we will be when BYNUM COMES BACK!!!

Harris had screwed lots of possessions in crunch time before hitting that one. I feel kinda sad for Philly though. First Nowitzki snapped their 7 game streak, than Ray Ray punished you guys, and now Harris with the half court buzzer-beater. BTW speaking of these game winners, once one of my favourite players Dirk Nowitzki showed his dark side in that game against Philly. I would have never expected that he is such a mean man. What he did to a little kid in that game is just unacceptable. Here is the youtube video if you guys want to see what happened. Note: If you can cry easily, please don't watch it. Gotta go now. It's Kobe vs Durant time, or better say Present vs Future. I wish both get 50+ points. Maybe I'll get back after the game.

February 25, 200916 yr Kobe 36, Durant 32. Not bad at all. Kobe came up big in the second half, and regained the lead that was down to one point when he was on the bench. Durant is one of my favourite young man. In the last 17 games he has 13 30+pt games, and since moved to SF Thunder is 11-13. Kid just gets open looks easily, as he is 6'10", and has great range. As Kobe said after the game his potential is undefined. I hope he has a bright, and injury-free career (he reminds me a lot of T-Mac, in his Orlando days). Philly is one of the most interesting teams. I watched some games with Brand this year, but as you already mentioned they kinda suck on halfcourt offense. Than I watched the Spurs game they won, and they were on fire, hiting buzzer beaters at the end of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd quarters. This team just needs to run, and Andre Miller is one of the best guys to speed up the game. BTW what the hell was Miller thinking scoring 30 in the previous game against Miami. Sixers were on pace to be the first team after 54 years to get a playoff spot without a single player on the team having a 30 point game. And no one commenting the Allstar weekend. The Cinderella story of the 00s ended with a happy ending, as Shaq, and Kobe declared peace, and became the Co-MVPs of the Allstar game. The rookie game was the best one ever, as Durant shattered the rookie game record by scoring 47. Oh, and than there was the dunk contest. Only 6 letters for that one: RIGGED Oh, and Phoenix got Alvin Ghentry, and they reset the Run&Gun, but after a really strong start, and 3 consecutive games of 140+ pts, Amare got (possibly) a season ending injury, and when I watched the game against the celtics, they clearly didn't have the batteries to keep this tempo. But at least the most fun team to watch of the last 4 years is fun once again.
February 26, 200916 yr Durant should have been an allstar this year for sure. i dont care if hes on a losing team. Andre Miller is the most underrated PG in the NBA, and the only other people that fill a stat sheet like Iguodala are Lebron and Kobe (with more points of course). Yet they never show the sixers on national tv. you think theyd show one of the more exciting teams to watch. the Kobe Shaq thing was great, but the highlight was Shaq dancing with the Jabbawokeez hes really good
