May 15, 200816 yr i kinda knew that whitney was going to win! antm never picks the best girl because they don't need the show to get signed... they just need exposure. whitney won because with the title... shes more likely to jobs with a title.anya didn't get the title because she can get signed to an agency anytime of the day.i bet you she'll be headlining LAFW like chantal! thats just how it works! plus you get booked more if you DONT win antm!

Im not even sure if ELITE also has plus size models ?....On a second thought, I think Tyra did the right choice as far as the show itself is concerned - meaning, they were looking for a covergirl, bubbly pretty and commerical...with a 'message'. Tyra soooo wanted to see a plus size girl win, so in that meaning they picked the right girl. Becides, TyTy knows pretty darn good too that such a treasure like Anya dont really need ANTM to be successefull.On a side note...UGH, Saleisha... lol
May 15, 200816 yr I'm happy Whitney one. Its about damn time they had a plus size model win. Anya is great and didn't need to win she will hopefully have a modeling contract really soon. Honestly it doesn't matter who wins all of the top model winners (from the american show) aren't really doing much modeling work anyway.

I mean... just this morning Whitney and ANTM was all over the news!!! It's crazy what kind of buzz it creates! While it sends a positive message to the public, ratings and publicity rake in big bucks for the company! anya looks like a DNA girl! hahaha! too bad she's too old for Supreme! hahaha!ANTM winners and contestant rarely get work compared to the rest of the world! hahha! just look at Suvi and Barbara!

May 16, 200816 yr Now, looking at Suvi, Barbara, Ksenia and Alice and their successes, how comes Tyra and everybody who's responsible for ANTM don't learn from it? Don't they realize none of the winners has international success? Why don't they finally change their concept? the international spin-offs are better than the original... antm is entertaining, yes, but unfortunately that's pretty much it. Buhlack is right about the ratings-thing. It's all that counts Let's see what Cycle 11 and 12 will bring - the contracts for 2 more cycles are signed already. What I noticed is that from cycle to cycle Tyra gets less interested in her own show. It's just very impersonal. The weird thing now is....... I will definitively watch the next cycles as well

I hope Fatima gets signed too. She is such a beautiful woman but Anya has better model potential P.S. Whitney has not a single shot where she has her mouth closed variety woooo
