One of my favourite VS blogs (god I can't believe I remember this shit and not my vital statutes why god) said forever ago (and I know you lurk here, or used to anyway, so hi wtf-vsfs where's your blog at I miss it) that one of the bejeweled looks in 2014 (Candice the tightrope walker I think?) was just tacky enough to be distinguished from the fantasy bra, and that's that edit.

This must have been VS' press plan all along, get Gigi to drop some privilege on these mfers and get some thinkpieces going again! Marketing genius! For real, I'm in a profession where we harp on language and this 'invited back' thing is going to be blown way the fuck out of proportion. Like it or not, Gigi is the kind of person they need to secure, and that means they have to invite her, to ensure she cares enough to drop whatever other lucrative opportunities she has to come to them. They rejected her ass so many times, if she can get in without having to go-see for it, than who the hell wouldn't? What's going to make people see and appreciate her hustle? She's what, five Vogues away from being the first person to cover every single Vogue? She has more followers than Adriana, Candice, Behati, and Alessandra combined? She's been on a nonstop campaign streak and since she's been lower key in the celebrity focused media, she could be making a comeback of sorts (like her snake queen). Could she have been a little more delicate about being invited back rather than asked to audition? Yes. Would you all be complaining if she had written it any other way? Also yes. This is just.... patently false. I understand why everyone's going gaga for Solo Harry Styles performing at the VSFS, but it just completely contrasts his new Brand™. Plus I'm 99% that the VSFS coincides with his tour. In my opinion it's far more likely that Liam Payne or Louis Tomlinson will be performing, they have albums coming around that time and their singles have a more 'VSFS' vibe, including the pop hit aspect. And Liam is familiar with the VSFS. And let's not discount Zayn and Gigi.

I always forget how rough it is to catch up on this thread daily Music: - I don't think there's any way Harry Styles is coming near the VSFS, it runs completely counter to everything he's established with his solo career. Also, I believe he's touring during that time. Same with his (ex) bandmate Niall Horan, or I would say Niall is a prime candidate. Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson (yes, still on One Direction members) actually come across as good bets to me too, both have albums and solo careers to promote around the VSFS. Liam Payne in particular is going for a sexier sound and 'Strip That Down' is smashing. Plus he's familiar with VS because he attended with his girlfriend at the London show. So he's high on my list of prospectives. - I could definitely see a Kpop group performing, and my money would be on Blackpink (I nearly died when I heard them on an American show), CL (especially since she's trying to break America and failing miserably), BTS, IGOT7, EXO, any one of those interchangeable boy groups that break twitter. - Let's also not forget the possibility of unexpected people. The Weeknd released Starboy in September (October? I don't remember) out of nowhere and was then announced as a performer. Zayn Malik is rumoured to be coming out with his second album before the year end, and what good is a Hadid sister without her boyfriend to interact with? - A few more all former Disney girl names: Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez if she makes those two bizarre singles into an album Fantasy bralette: - Gotta be Candice. Iza has never not looked harsh, lol. She was born with a six pack. With them trying to hit back at the 'needs more body diversity' critics with resolute 'we are about health #vsx' I don't know why they would drop one of their most athletic and tbh well-known considering she's no longer an angel models. But both of us are speculating here, I'll toss you a bone and say it's more than possible VS finally ditched her.

Google says she's designing with Walmart. It goes both ways, Doutzen and Rosie left angel-dom for their collaborations, Kendall Jenner was a face of La Perla (still is) and walked last year + there's a decent chance she'll walk again this year. So I'm not sure that's a real reason to discount her.

I don't think we can even begin to say who's dropped and who isn't yet. There's no way #bodybyiza is just dropping her yearly moment tm like this. VS would have to be dropping her and I lowkey cannot see them doing that. But they've done same but different shit before, so who knows. Speculation is speculation is speculation. But I do think it might be possible Lily, Joan, and Isabeli are out. None of them seemed really into VS these past few years.

Shape Tape is soooooo full coverage, though, I wouldn't recommend it for anyone new to makeup. Definitely one of the best out there, but it's a lot to handle, to say the very least. Adding to the concealer discussion: I would recommend NARS Radiant Creamy over Shape Tape since that's what I began with (that shit makes me luminous, it is my foundation most days) but I don't know if I can in good faith recommend NARS products any more. If that doesn't bother you, I guess but it should I like the Cover FX creamy concealer right now, I bought it when I got the Custom Enhancer drops and it's not amazing under my eyes (goddammit RIP my Touche Eclat) but it does well with blemishes. It's so bloody hard being a cruelty free consumer, I'm using the last of my NARS right now and I'm sooooo sad to let go of this mfing concealer. My bank probably likes it because I have to spend so much less on makeup because every damn company is expanding to China, though.
