Absolutely no one is saying they wouldn't take the opportunity? We're questioning VS for giving it to her in the first place. Like, good for her, an 18 year old fresh out of school, awesome to see you in VS and walking with the 'modern supers'. Holy word, I would absolutely take a picture with Gigi and Devon if I ever met them. If I got that chance aye I'd take it without thinking. But that's not what we're talking about here. You can be petty all you like but there's something that separates models who walk only in their local shows from models who walk in Fashion Month shows, primarily experience. This whole industry is built on elitism and dividing models into categories. If you want to make threads for girls who walk Columbus Fashion Week then by all means, do, but don't pretend they're equal in standing casting wise without experience in the big shows.

She hasn't walked since 2006, why would she be interested in walking again now? To remind herself she's still hot at 30? Don't get me wrong, she's one of my favourites, but I just don't see why she'd show up again after almost 10 years. Has anyone ever done that?

She's from California. Malibu, in fact, so I'd bet on it. That is, assuming VS does something properly.

I'm all for more Arab models (even if only half, like Gigi and Bella) on VS runways. Anyway, I think her walk was markedly improved at Balmain H&M.

She did go for castings last year, didn't she? And they rejected her? Honestly though she's got the perfect narrative for them, even better than Karlie's and they made such a big deal of Karlie getting wings her first show. Gigi's talked about how much she loves Candice Swanepoel for a long, long time, and being a VS Angel is very sincerely her modelling dream. Not to mention her star has exploded over the past year. I'm sure she's in, walk or not. Like someone said a few pages back, does VS even care about walks anymore? I can see a bit with Gigi meeting Candice backstage and talking about how much she admires the angels and wants to be one already.

Wouldn't her Calvin Klein contract keep her away from VS? Does she have Pink shoots or anything? I think the Hadids are far, far more likely, especially with The Weeknd performing. Gotta have that celebrity boyfriend in the crowd/on the runway shot.

The snapchat story is nothing people who care enough to frequent Bellazon don't already know. Introduction to John, Monica, Ed, and Sophia, and asking all of them what makes someone stand out in castings, bla bla bla.

I think it's more than possible he shot something with Jasmine for an 'introduction to the new Angels' kind of video, since he's a big part of her life and he's famous in his own right and very attractive. Maybe since Candice is engaged, and Kate got married, plus many other angels are married, they have a little bit about men this year. Like, not saying this overtly, but 'men who were forced to watch this, if you get your girlfriend VS panties she'll marry you'.

In a segment that's representing the USA, definitely. Throw in the fact that VS has always lacked (it's arguable, but whatever, I think you can get what perspective I'm coming from) minority representation that isn't the representation of blondes, and I can already see the blogs screaming about police brutality not being sexy. Have they already forgotten Karlie and Calendar Girls? Or is this a weird ploy to bring more attention to the show?

They have Stanley Tucci designing for vsfs?! A Devil Wears Prada crossover, almost 10 years later I hated Karlie's wings more than anything else in the segment, they look like a children's colouring book. Behati's was cute, even if the wings were questionable (I get they were supposed to be the hat's the Royal Guard wear, but... why).

After years of lurking BZ (and... others) I decided to finally make an account when the VSFS thread locked (I promise I'm not posting things about VS on instagram, my very Catholic family follows me there ). I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing but if you're ever down to talk models and films and lit or anything really, hi!
