To me breast implants can be “false advertising” since the objective is to sell bras to women. (But of course it wouldn’t be the only thing since VS photoshops the models’ bosoms, they put extra padding in the bras and I’m sure they use make-up to enhance the cleavage area. And when they still shot Swim, models would sometimes wear a bra underneath their swimwear!) Personally, I want the Angels to be one of the most beautiful women in the world and since they are underwear models, that means good to perfect breasts as well. Bad boob jobs don’t fall into that category. And it’s pretty depressive that many models “need” breast implants to model lingerie and swimwear because the demands for a super skinny and toned body coupled with big breasts are so unrealistic for most!

Shouldn’t they do a “breast inspection” before hiring someone as an Angel? But maybe they don’t care. Just look at how far Kylie Bisutti got in that competition with a really massive, fake-looking boob job. David Kirsch’s eyes were about to pop out of his head when he saw her in swimwear.

Zuri better turn on the charm if they give her a big role on the show like opening or closing PINK or wearing wings. Right now my impression of her is that she is a bit of a stuck up b*tch.

I think it’d be Drake’s year. Don’t know whether he’d be interested but VS often wants a male singer who sings about women and who the models can flirt with on the runway. Who I would want back is this one: Right now I’m not hyped for the show, I wish I was like many of you clearly are. But if Barbara was cast, my interest in the show would increase by a million instantly!

This post gave me the impression that Hannah has been trying to get a more hf look, which in turn is more what VS is looking for on the runway. @SympathysSilhouette I think Hannah has tighter abs etc. (Although there is a slight bump in the above picture.)

Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show castings… Plz…

Are the fit models working for free or am I completely off? I seem to recall reading something like that… That basically ensuring a spot in the show is their “payment.” (There could be a minimal monetary compensation of course so that it wouldn’t look so bad if some outsiders were to look into it.)

Why do so many people want to see a Moulin Rouge theme at the VSFS? Isn’t the real Moulin Rouge really tacky and even sleazy? Maybe you guys mean the movie version?

It could really be an uphill battle for her since she doesn’t have runway training and isn’t even a mainstay in the catalogues. But you don’t necessarily have to be experienced to walk in the Victoria’s Secret Runway Show (e.g. Marisa Miller)

She would have to be a really commercial model whose agency wouldn’t mind her being booked during fashion week. (Maybe a rookie?) @PinkCouture Didn’t you mention that Hannah Ferguson and her agency are looking into more runway work for her? NYFS would be crucial preparation for her in terms of landing a spot at the VSFS.

Chrissy is doing New York Fashion Week so that can’t be her either.

I’ve noticed that some of the teaser pics are quite unflattering. It makes me wonder how much smoke and mirrors are involved to make the models look flawless on a beach.

That booty pic reminds me of Xenia Deli. It’d be great if she was in. (Not saying that’s her.)

Behati and Candice could still be part of the show but I’ve never gotten the impression that either of them are host material. Heidi, on the other hand, hosted the 2009 VSFS and even took a turn on the catwalk after having just given birth, which elicited a big reaction from the audience. Yet I could see VS trying to make one special outfit for both Behati and Candice so that they could walk that catwalk and get a lot of positive press.

Oh wow, I bet he knew exactly what he was doing! I would not be surprised if he was a narcissist or a white-collar psychopath. Those are very good at reading people and using their weaknesses. But to give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe Trump just want a little payback for Lisa’s roast on him. Yes, I’m sure there was because as a viewer it didn’t add up why Lisa disliked Dayana so much that she’d even have tears of frustration. It could be that Trump wanted Dayana to have the sympathetic edit since she represented his Miss Universe organization. But I don’t think that Lisa got that bad of an edit either, she was shown to be very competent if I recall right. I could see this making Lisa feel annoyed towards Dayana if she felt that the situation was unfair i.e. Dayana was going to be presented as the innocent young woman who wants to prove herself and does well in tasks but she is being targeted by the bitter older woman or something like that. Maybe Lisa should’ve seen that picture, I bet she would have felt less bad about comparing herself to Dayana.
