How in the hell was Kyra supposed to be a fan favourite? She looked so unfortunate to me that I felt bad thinking that about her and I felt bad for her because she looked so out of place among the other models.

That’s too bad because while I had some initial interest in her, she has shot for WS and that is (more than) enough for me.

I wouldn’t be surprised if VS wanted to honor the “old-timers” before giving the Fantasy Bra to one of the newer Angels. Hence, Lily Aldridge got the Fantasy Bra last year. I suspect it might’ve been Behati’s turn this year had she not gotten pregnant.

It could be that the concept of the promo was a “girls’ night out” and she was supposed to play an upscale New York woman who has her own chauffeur. But I also think that the promo may have shaped up that way due to the vibe Magdalena gives off. They are definitely meant to be a boyfriend and girlfriend here:

Probably because of the increased attention the model gets. The televised show is likely to have a segment on the Fantasy Bra, a bigger deal is made out of the model’s turn on the runway when she is wearing the Fantasy Bra (voice-overs, she might get to open the show or a segment), and she gets more exposure in the media by giving interviews etc. And hopefully, the Fantasy Bra looks great so the model is guaranteed an outfit that will stand out at the fashion show. In addition, the Fantasy Bras are a bit of VS history. The Fantasy Bras and the models who have worn them are reviewed from time to time. At least before, who got the Fantasy Bra was seen as a sign that the model in question was a particular favourite of Victoria’s Secret because she was given the honor of wearing the Fantasy Bra over all the other Angels. If you look back on the history of the Fantasy Bras, a lot of the big names have worn a Fantasy Bra. So it bodes well for a model to get to wear one.

Of course it's not! Regina George = queen bee of the mean girls. But she’d say nice things to people and then talk shit about them behind their backs. So the mental image of a cat fight doesn’t work for me unless Cady aka Katy and Kanye had already pushed Regina aka Taylor over the edge.

But didn’t Katy basically say that Taylor is like Regina George from Mean Girls? And she hugged Kanye etc. So she would be nice to their faces at least.
