Elsa said Sara is a go-getter who won't take no for an answer. When that trait goes to the extreme, it can be a negative thing. It can mean that a person is ruthlessly ambitious i.e. willing to throw other people under the bus for their own career advancement.

I guess it’s to combat the negative connotation of models, who are already very thin and fit, working out like crazy for the show. Now everyone is asked to set a fitness goal (other than to have no visible fat on the runway) while they still work out like crazy.

I think so too but the level of craze seems to indicate that there’s more to it like it’s a cultural thing for her. Being in America, watching American football, making football Sunday into a thing etc. Fans in the MLS are trying to bring fan culture to soccer in the states, but the NFL, NBA, and MLB still dominate in popularity.
