Rogue - Obviously things are going to be more expensive in a place as big as Montreal, just as things are going to be even more expensive in London than they are in the rest of England. None of the things I have bought have been on sale except for some juice and even then it was only knocked down about 2 cents, which is pretty pointless.

Fitness and Exercise
I tried cocoa butter and it did reduce them a little. They also fade with time. I tried something by L'Oreal that did nothing, so I wouldn't recommend buying their stretchmark stuff. I've also heard Mederma and Retin-A are good, though I haven't tried them myself and I think the former is very expensive. I don't know how modelling agencies would feel about stretchmarks, but if you're a woman you're pretty much guaranteed to either have stretchmarks or cellulite because of how fat collects in women's bodies and how their hips and breasts grow during puberty. So if they're not going to pick you because of that I think they are being too choosy. I'm 5'2"/158cm and weigh somewhere between 98lbs/44kg and 102lbs/46kg. I'm about a size 2-4. I don't really want to lose any weight (except for the annoying lump of fat on my lower back that makes me look fat from behind), but I do want to tone up. The top of my stomach is toned fine, but no matter how many sit ups I do I can't seem to tone the bottom part. I'm also running on this machine at the gym (don't know what it is called, but it is not a regular treadmill) to tone up my butt and doing things with dumbells to tone my chest (keeps your boobs nice and perky ). Someone I know who does a lot of mountainbiking said that even if a woman follows the same exercise routines as a man (minus all the food and supplements he might eat to gain muscle) she will not get big, bulky and masculine, but she will get toned and enhance her curves because of the way women are built. She attended a fitness group herself with a bunch of slim petite women and she said afterwards they were all extremely curvy and toned. I just hope that I can do the same seeing as I am also slim and petite and already have some nice curves to build upon.

Designer jeans
I was comparing my most recent purchases. But the cheapest tops I've seen in the UK are CAD$30 and the cheapest jeans CAD$60. All those above are also in Canadian dollars. Still a lot more expensive than Canadian clothes.

Designer jeans
I wasn't saying I was rich (wish I was, but my family is actually living below the poverty line in the UK on just CAD$100 a week for the three of them), I was saying everything in North America is dirt cheap compared to Britain. Just ask any North American who has been there; those I've met all agree with me. Here's a little list of price comparisons on things I have bought (pretty much identical to each other): Ordinary jeans bought in Canada: $30. Ordinary jeans bought in UK: $160. Top from Canada: $7. Top in UK: $60. Pair of boots in Canada: Less than $20. Pair of boots in UK (that fell apart after 3 months): $80. Carton of juice in Canada: Less than $1. Carton of juice in UK: $4. Nail polish in Canada: About $6. Nail polish in UK: $15. Bus fare in Canada: $2.25. Bus fare in UK: $4. Both for same distance. I could go on and on with my list of price comparisons, but you get the idea: North America's cheap compared to the UK and the UK is ridiculously expensive compared to North America. I'm not rich because I think North America is cheap; I've just been ripped off all these years in England and that's why I think it's cheap.

Tanning
I would love to go out in the sun and get tanned, but because two people drowned in a pool somewhere this stupid health inspector has shut down all the pools in my town (it's a very small town)! How stupid is that? It is like stopping everyone from driving because one person got run over.

Designer jeans
In England, $50 is about the average price for NON-designer jeans and is extremely cheap. So, yes; if I saw designer jeans for that price anywhere I would probably buy them if it wasn't too expensive to get them hemmed. Having lived in Canada for 3 months I've come to realise that everything which is expensive to North Americans is dirt cheap to me.

Barbara Mori
Well, her surname kind of gives away that she is part Japanese. It sounds very Japanese to me. Also, it is funny that you say Latinas are curvy because that is what is idolised in your culture, yet in Japan big boobs seem to be idolised when not many Japanese women have large breasts.

Barbara Mori
Isn't she also a quarter Japanese?

Candids
I don't think she looks plain with this hair colour, but it reminds me of all those Asian girls that dye their hair the same reddish-brown in an effort to look unique when they all end up looking the same.

Swimsuits
I haven't actually been shopping for a bikini here in Canada yet (moved here about six weeks ago) and I was wondering; do they sell the bikini tops separate from the bikini bottoms anywhere? I had a lot of trouble in England because you had to buy the bikini top and bottom together and they assumed that people with small breasts must have 32 inch hips when I have 35 inch hips. So, I always had to either buy a costume where the bottoms would be falling down, or buy a costume where the top is saggy.

General Discussion
I saw a few threads ages ago where people were saying that Aline is hideous and looks like a retard, but I think she is very beautiful.

General Discussion
It's not true; look at the angle of the pictures. The first one is from straight ahead, in the second one her head is tilted back so that you can see up her nose and her mouth is wide open. Everyone's lips look bigger when the head is tilted back and the mouth is open. There are pics of Adriana when she was in her early teens and her lips look exactly the same as they do now.

General Discussion
Quote from Candids thread: Zhang is only 5'3", so I'm guessing Adriana is 5'7"/5'8 at the tallest...Personally, she only looks tall in 'heels'. If she were as tall as they make out, she'd be 'towering' WAY more over Zhang. I'm 5'10" and she only looks my height when she's wearing the 3inch heels. Looking at those pictures of them standing together, I think you may be right. I am 5'2" (one inch shorter than Zhang) and my best friend is 5'10" (which is how tall Adriana is supposed to be). When I stand next to my best friend with no heels, my head stops at her shoulders; my eyes being level with her boobs. LOL If I were one inch taller it would be about the same. If Adriana is 5'10", Zhang's head should definitely not be stopping at Adriana's eyebrows with her eyes level to her mouth. Even when they are bending their legs slightly, Zhang's head should be nowhere near that high. Either one is taller/shorter than we've been told, or they are both of slightly different heights.

Stupid Trends
I don't follow many trends; I just buy what I think looks good on me and feels comfortable. Though several times I've bought something different/unusual that I thought looked nice and then a week or two later everyone was wearing it. The first time it happened was in secondary school. I started wearing a little bit of make-up under my eye at the corner, which most people didn't do. Then suddenly everyone was doing it and accusing me of being a sad trend-follower whom was copying them. <_< I doubt I am the one setting the trends, but it gets very annoying when it seems like everyone is copying you.

Birth Control
I've been on the pill for about four years and I've actually lost weight since I started on it. I guess it depends on the person.

Ana Beatriz vs. Alessandra - facial beauty
Hello again. I didn't mean that they are plain as in boring looking. No way are they plain-looking! But they are both caucasian and nothing more. Yeah, it is true that the Spanish and Portuguese have a very mixed ancestry, but overall most of the mixes have been with caucasoid races; European, West Asian and North African. I don't know if I can believe that West Asians are mixed in there though because even now, my tutor who is Indian faced a lot of racism while living in Spain. Anyway, Europe overall is very mixed, but due to most of this mixing being with caucasoids, they are considered to be caucasian. Kate Beckinsale is an eighth Burmese, but she is considered white because it is such a small portion. In Europeans these portions are probably even smaller (we're talking 1/128 mongoloid/negroid or something really tiny like that), so it isn't even considered significant enough to be taken into account. I agree that tans can make people look gorgeous. Tans don't suit some people, but on others they look great. I have never had the chance to get a very dark tan, but I'm hoping that I can one day because it would bring out the green and grey in my eyes and I think that would look pretty cool.

Ana Beatriz vs. Alessandra - facial beauty
Thug_Life_NYC-81 I have always been into art, too. Ana's eyes look common and caucasian to me (maybe I just live in a place where everyone has Ana's huge eyes and so it looks average to me ). No eyes are perfectly round, but in comparison to Ale's they are more round than almond. Though I agree that Ana can express more with her eyes alone because of their size. I wouldn't say Ana's features are unique, but they are all considered to be very feminine and beautiful and combined she does have a unique face. Ana is no more mixed than Ale. Ana is Spanish/Portuguese, Ale is Italian/Polish; both plain caucasian. Adriana is very mixed, much more so than Ale or Ana; she has negroid, mongoloid and caucasoid blood in her. Also, I would remember both Ana and Ale if I saw them walking down the street. I think they are both beautiful and stunning, but I simply prefer Ale. I'm glad that you are just telling me your opinion instead of just saying "Oh, you're a psycho" and insulting Ale! You should see what someone said to Ana's fan on this other message board. Lastly, all of this is just your opinion and all of what I've said is just my opinion. Nothing is going to be settled here except that you prefer Ana and I prefer Ale, so I think in the end we just have to agree to disagree!

Ana Beatriz vs. Alessandra - facial beauty
Thug_Life_NYC-81 - I said Ana's face is round with a strong jawline. For some reason, I would just imagine heart-shaped faces to be a lot narrower and pointier in the chin area and wider at the top, so I didn't call her face heart-shaped because her face is widest at her cheeks and her chin isn't pointed. Her face is definitely not long compared to Ale's. And it isn't a fact that Ana is more beautiful than Ale or vice versa; everything here is simply an opinion. If it were fact, one of the girls would have all the votes and the other would have 0. Asking who is more beautiful is not as simple as asking a question about fact, such as "Do we breathe oxygen? Yes/No". From what I have seen around me, Ana's eyes are very common. They just look plain caucasian to me, only a little larger. I am half Asian myself and Ana's eyes definitely do not look Asian; they are round and not almond-shaped or slanted and she has huge eyelids with creases that are far away from her eyes. Ale's eyelid creases meet her eyes at the inner corner (if that makes sense) like with some Asians and most Eurasians. And that part actually is a fact. If you look at many Asian and Eurasian celebrities, they either have single lids or double lids with a crease that slants closer to the eye at the inner corner. And Ale has that even though she is caucasian. TantrumXSpeed - If I'm senseless for being one of the only posters to think and come up with reasons for voting Ale, then most of the people who have voted must be completely retarded. (the laugh means I am kidding in case anyone was about to pounce on me)

The Most Kissable Lips
Nope, that's Raquel Jaramillo.

Waxing, shaving, plucking
I pluck, epilate (it's like a shaver, but instead of cutting hairs it pulls them out) and shave places that would be too painful to pluck/epilate. My epilator broke in June, my shaver battery doesn't stay charged long enough for me to shave my legs all over, shaving only keeps the hair away for a few hours, it's cold and everyone's wearing trousers and I will be moving to Canada soon (there's no point in buying an epilator with a British plug), so I'm super hairy right now.

Sugababes?
I think she was called Mutya. Apparently she isn't very nice and ruined a movie for everyone by throwing popcorn, talking loudly on her mobile phone all the way through the film and then complaining that she didn't know what was going on. <_<

The Most Kissable Lips
I agree with you. I have my favourites, but I can also acknowledge their flaws and I don't think that absolutely everything about them is perfect just because I like them the most overall. That's just being silly. I bet even if we had a poll on who has the best smile, Adriana would win even though her teeth are quite crooked.

Ana Beatriz vs. Alessandra - facial beauty
I never said her boobs look big; I said they are a B cup, which is about average. They do look small in that picture, but in general I guess they look smaller on taller people because everything else is big and it makes them look tinier... I hope that actually made sense. TantrumXSpeed - Square jaws are one of the things they look for in models, along with the high cheekbones, long slender neck, uniqueness and they also seem to love the adrogynous look. Not everyone is going to have the same taste as you and although I agree that Ana does have the classical feminine features, I just prefer Ale for the reasons I've already stated. Also, what others see as flaws (Ale's square jaw), some will see as assets. I agree with Taben on strong features also being able to be feminine; even though Ale has a jaw that some would consider masculine, with the rest of her features she turns it into something beautifully feminine.

I don't think a B cup is tiny; maybe an AAA is, but not a B.

Ana Beatriz vs. Alessandra - facial beauty
This is a hard choice to make. I like Ana because she has that perfectly round face accented with high cheekbones and a well-defined jawline, she has beautiful full lips and a cute petite nose. However, I think sometimes her nose looks too upturned, her eyes occasionally look almost disproportionately large, her eyelids can look very wrinkly and uneven, she looks tired a lot of the time and I prefer eyebrows that are closer to the eyes; I just think that is sexier. I like Alessandra because she has a longer face, high cheekbones and square jawline; she doesn't have the traditional "feminine" face. She has uniquely shaped hazel eyes that look almost as though she could be part Asian and her arched eyebrows accentuate that. She also has a cute nose and although her lips aren't as full as Ana's they also have an unusual shape, with her upper lip turning up at the corners and her bottom lip looking almost triangular-shaped; I think this makes them look very sensual, yet sweet at the same time. However, sometimes it seems like her forehead is too big, she can look mouse-like, her features seem like they are placed too close together on her face at times and occasionally she can look quite plain. Overall, I have more pros and less cons for Ale than I do Ana, so my vote goes to Alessandra.
