Celebs Lookalike!
sinha - I don't think I explained it as best I could, but thank you. I am glad that at least someone appreciates me defending them. There's no point in continuing an argument when the other person is not even reading what you are saying properly (and from Femme Fatale's posts it seems the feeling is mutual) and that is why I did not carry on after the last post and pretty much walked away. Everything will just be going in circles and neither person will be getting their point across because they're too busy pointing out and trying to explain that one sentence has been misunderstood. I am not going to keep explaining that one word in an entire sentence has been taken completely out of context (and so on) and I'm sure that Femme Fatale wouldn't bother with doing that either after they've already done it twice. We both lost from the minute this whole thing started, anyway; both of us could have handled it better than we did, so sorry for ruining the thread.

Celebs Lookalike!
Femme Fatale - I never said you were replying to anyone in specific. I never said you were directing your post towards me, but since you assumed everyone else who said she didn't look like Adriana was jealous I wanted to save myself from being accused of the same thing. I am not accusing you of saying anything towards me, but I am pointing out that you unfairly judged these other members. Perhaps if they said something like, "Pffft! Yeah right! You look NOTHING like Adriana!" then I would agree that they seemed jealous, but they did nothing of the sort. First you say you are not being specific, then you say your post was "clearly to the members who just cant face that this girl looks very similar to Adriana". Which is it: in general, or specific? I did not mention any names in my post either, but I think it is pretty obvious I am trying not to be accused by you (or others like you) of being jealous just because I think dancer doesn't look exactly like Adriana. You don't have to mention any names to make it clear your message is to a particular bunch of people. This is my point; they might be stubborn to admit they are jealous; you do not know that they are even jealous at all, but you assumed they definitely were anyway without asking why they think she doesn't look like Adriana and seeing if they can come up with something other than, "She just doesn't, okay?" and a smiley rolling its eyes. If that were to be their reply, then you would definitely have a reason to call them jealous, but without that you have no evidence. Identical means "exactly alike", whereas similar means "like something, but not exactly the same". You can't interchange the word "identical" with "similar" because it would not make sense. For example, "A tennis ball looks similar to an apple because it is rounded and green." You can't change it to "identical" because tennis balls are also fuzzy, have white stripes on and are perfectly round, therefore they cannot be described as being "identical to apples". I guess the sentence I typed about dancer looking "similar, but not identical to Adriana" wouldn't make sense to those who aren't too interested in the subject of English, but to someone who knows the language very well it makes perfect sense. And there's no need to try and label everyone who says, "She doesn't look like so-and-so to me" as being jealous, when it is clear that they are just voicing their opinions.

Fan Talk
I don't know, though I have seen her wearing a necklace with the symbol for Islam (crescent moon with star, but I am not sure which way round it is) a lot in her candids thread. Though I would find it very odd that she would be allowed to model if she and her family are Muslims. Unless they are extremely liberal I would think such a thing would be forbidden. Here's an example of the necklace I am talking about. Maybe someone else is more certain as to whether this is a symbol for Islam, or not?:

Candids
I had a teacher who had his ears pinned back and they can only do it with the top part of the ear and not the ear lobe, so that is why her ear lobes still stick out a little.

Countries with the most beautiful women
Eastern Europe Ya I've heard before the ugliest ones are in UK ... He's absolutely right. Trust me; I've lived there twenty years. I have never been to a place where the majority of the girls were beautiful, though the most beautiful girl I've known was half English, half Turkish.

^ I'm guessing you are talking about it looking broad when we see her from the front and she is grinning? If so, I was talking about from a profile view. From the front it can look wide when she smiles, but from a profile view she has a small nose. tinky - Thanks. LOL I just get tired that whenever somebody says so-and-so doesn't look like this famous person they are accused of being jealous all the time. A guy could say exactly the same thing and he wouldn't have any fingers pointed at him. Can't a woman give her honest opinion without being called an insecure wreck?

DuWop Lip Venom
Milk will help with that, if you just wipe some on your lips (not if it has gone in a cut, though). I haven't tried this Duwop Lip Venom, but I also considered it. ILA - That sucks! Maybe karma will catch up to them and whoever stole it will steal lip gloss from someone who has herpes.

Celebs Lookalike!
I don't think she looks identical to Adriana. I admit that her eyes, hair and skin are the same colour and that she has a similar shaped nose with the big lips and a roundish face, but Adriana's nose is very tiny whereas dancer's is about average size, her lips look more like Angelina Jolie's to me, her eyes are not as large as Adriana's and her eyebrows are not as straight as Adriana's, either. Yes, she does look very similar to Adriana, but I wouldn't say identical. Especially since the picture is not very clear. Also, before I am accused of being jealous, I have no reason to be as I stand out so much here in Canada that every time I go outside I am ogled and grinned at at least once and I have been hollered at, hooted at and even stopped in the street by some random guy who wanted to tell me I am very attractive. Sorry if I sound like I am boasting, but I wanted to make sure that people do not assume I am saying dancer doesn't look like Adriana because I am some ugly, bitter, jealous b*tch, or something. <_<

Sexy Asian Women
I am only half Asian, but I will reply anyway. I don't mind if a guy has a preference for Asian girls; everybody has different tastes. For example, my best friend's dad just doesn't find Asian women attractive and there is no reason why any Asian girl should be offended by that because that is simply how he is and it is only a preference. I don't see why your friends should be offended by guys preferring Asian women over girls of other races. I'm sure blonde girls don't get offended when a guy says he has a "thing" for blondes, so why should Asians be offended when a guy says he has a "thing" for Asians? As for the status symbol thing; I don't see how knowing some random people have a "thing" for your race/hair/eye colour/body type or whatever makes you any more important than anyone else. In fact I think it is actually quite sad that some people base all their worth on whether others find them hot or not. I am a hapa/Eurasian and I know that in Asia they are all the rage and millions think they are amazingly hot, but I don't go around boasting about it or thinking I am superior to everyone because I am a hapa. I am proud of who I am because I am me, not because I fit into a group of people who are stereotyped as being beautiful and idolised in Asia.

DuWop Lip Venom
Anyone tried Sephora's Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme? I've heard that is a very good lip plumper. I've tried Perfect Pout by Skin Doctors and it does work a little, but then my lips go all chapped after a while.

Eva Longoria VS Roselyn Sanchez
That isn't true; I've seen several pictures of many celebrities without make-up and there are some who look much more beautiful than others. For example, Cameron Diaz and J. Lo look below average without all of their make-up, but people like Liv Tyler and Jennifer Garner still look above average with or without the make-up.

3 unique girls!
I don't really like her, but I voted for Devon because she has a unique look that is a mix between European and Asian features. My second choice would've been Gemma as I haven't seen many who look like her, but I've seen quite a few people who look like Lily.

That Time Of The Month
That really works? I'll have to try that. I get fed up of waiting a whole week before I can swim when the summer here is so short and bipolar.

Jessica Alba vs Kristin Kreuk
I agree; I personally find them both quite plain apart from Kristen's eye colour. I've actually known quite a few white girls who looked just like Jessica (my cousin being one of them), so maybe that's why I don't find her too unique or exotic. I haven't known many who looked like Kristen, but I still think she would look average without her unique eyes.
-
Eva Longoria VS Roselyn Sanchez
I voted for Roselyn because this is what Eva looks like without make-up and I believe truly beautiful women should be able to look beautiful without any make-up. In my opinion Eva looks below average without all her make-up.

Didn't you just answer that question with your next post?:

Stupid Trends
They will wear stuff like a baggy black hooded top with green combats/khakis and big chunky trainers/sneakers. Overall, just very plain and masculine things.
-
Stupid Trends
^ Yep. I've only seen one or two girls my age who have worn something decent like a white skirt and a pink top, or some jeans with a flowery babydoll top.

Stupid Trends
It annoys me that everyone in my town wears flip-flops/sandals and you can always hear them dragging along the pavement. It also annoys me that 80% of the women dress like men or in very plain middle-aged mum clothes because that means there are no nice clothes in the stores and I have to search extra hard for a pretty something that a 20-year-old would wear.

Yes, I was. It was not in response to you, Rogue.

Designer jeans
What's the matter? Can't you handle the fact that you were wrong for mocking me earlier? Everyone makes mistakes; there's no need to prove yourself by kicking a dead horse (or being redundant). You judged me, I showed that you made the wrong assumption, the end; learn your lesson and move on.

Designer jeans
Well, if you count a place with an airport, cinemas, theatres, restaurants, shopping malls, ice-skating rink, university, rail station and so on as "the middle of nowhere".

Swimsuits
Thanks for the advice, but my town just seems to be a crap place to shop for bikinis. The only place I could find was Bikini Village and they had such ugly patterns on the bikinis. And they were all in khakis and dark browns. In the end I just ordered from Victoria's Secret and hoped that XS was small enough to fit my top as well as my bottom. Fortunately I was lucky this time; my boobs in the bikini top don't look like gooseberries in the Grand Canyon.
