Three parts spring immediately to mind as favourites - *if anyone does intend to play the game, then please, read no further* - the Cohen stuff was tremendously satisfying and completely disgusting in equal measure, and that sick sense of accomplishment gained by luring him into the open, only to bump him off was a gaming moment that I won't soon forget. The whole design and mood of that shopping mall area was terrific too. Approaching Steinman's operating room would be another. It was at a relatively early point in the game, but that maniacal rant about the imperfections of his mutilated patients was such a gloriously creepy way to lead into a battle. And lastly, as silly as it probably sounds to choose a non-playable bit, I just loved the scene in which Ryan reveals the truth to the hero. That was the precise moment when all the tape diaries and flippant comments by Atlas suddenly made perfect sense. It all just interlocked so well. Only real criticism would be the build-up to the final battle with Fontaine. To be confronted with a giant blue guy was a bit jarring when I'd expected him to at least mildly resemble the gangster I'd seen in the pictures. I understood what was going on with his transformation and whatnot, but a little cutscene to make it all slightly clearer probably wouldn't have gone amiss. It's a minor complaint though.

While we're on the subject, I spotted a couple of topics in the actresses section that would be a better fit for 'Other Females of Interest' - Donna Air http://www.bellazon.com/main/index.php?showtopic=8262 Whitney Port http://www.bellazon.com/main/index.php?showtopic=21396 Done. ~ Post Edited by Joe > Average

In the grand scheme of things, your average friendly doesn't mean much beyond pride and mild bragging rights. It's essentially a chance for the coach to experiment with team selection, tactics and whatnot - usually in preparation for a major tournament (in the USA's case, this summer's Gold Cup competition).

^It's an odd one, that. They always push Freema as one of the main stars of the show but from what I've seen, she's all too rarely in it. And on a side note - fresh after Matt Smith starring as Christopher Isherwood in a recent BBC drama, comes the news that Karen Gillan will be playing Jean Shrimpton in a similar production. http://entertainment.stv.tv/film/240260-do...jean-shrimpton/
  13. Random (but largely useless, until now) Alexis Krauss fact - as a former school teacher, she invited the pupils with the highest grades in her class to sing backing vocals on the Sleigh Bells album. Lucky kids.

Definitely Pond for me, but with Martha a close second. Not enough Freema Agyeman on TV these days, in my humble opinion.

My overriding memory from that episode is no more Rose = yay. The rest is a little fuzzy now.

^Shame. Well, rest assured that the links and/or vids will be posted here as soon as they appear online.

In that case, I suggest we start a thread entitled 'Complete Silence of 2011' instead. P.S. Donbot, do you get the Jools Holland show on your side of the pond? If so, look out for Anna on the 5th April episode.

It's been years since I last saw that one but if memory serves, it was because the Daleks travelled to the alternate Earth through a void in time, which subsequently had to be closed in order to keep them from coming back. Something like that, anyway.
