Me too, though I'm bracing myself for this to be the final series. To make it to five is pretty rare on UK television, especially for a non-soap or a non-serial drama show. Plus, I think before long the cast are going to feel like trying other things. Still, I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts.

  9. So great, thanks Nef!
  10. Thanks to all for the various pics and updates. Bregje is growing on me like nobody's business.

  12. Just a few off the top of my head... - Michael Gough in Batman & Robin - Jeremy Irons in The Time Machine - Phillip Seymour Hoffman in Along Came Polly - Charlize Theron in Monster
  13. Mark Kermode (a well-known film critic in the UK) asked this on a podcast a short while ago and it piqued my interest somewhat. What are your picks for best performances in bad movies?
  14. Three pages' worth of new stuff have been added since the last time I was here, which quite honestly is far more awesomeness than I can handle in one go. I should really visit more often.
  15. Sorry, my mistake. Done.
  16. At the moment, I'm hovering somewhere between 3.5 and 4, but I think I'd like to see it again before making a definitive judgement. The idea of TDKR being better than TDK (a movie so good that even Eric Roberts couldn't ruin it) was obviously a complete non-starter, so by no means did I go into it with unrealistic expectations - it's just that I'd built myself up so much and was so fixated on being determined to enjoy it that I'm not sure I was fully 'in the moment' when I saw it, if that makes any sense whatsoever. One more viewing should help no end. BB - 4.5 TDK - 5 TDKR - 3.5/4-ish

  19. I got to see it a couple of weeks after release and good time was had by all. My expectations were nowhere near as high for it as they were for TDKR, but it was pretty much everything I'd hoped it would be. I was more impressed with Scarjo than I have been for a long, long time, and I loved the lengths they went to to make Robert Downey look tall. All in all, looking forward to Avengers II: Avenge Harder.

^Very good stuff. Treated myself to the new Metric album just this week. Here's another tune I really like at the moment. I'm reliably informed that they supported School of Seven Bells recently.... http://youtu.be/f-UPdD_SU_Q
