Our CBs should still be there due to a lack of alternatives. Martinez is looking into convincing Leeds' Pascal Struijk to play for us. He is also eligible for Holland (but with their CB depth he is far less likely to get much game time for them). And there is also Zinho Vanheusden, a very good CB from Standard de Liège whose career has been stalled by injuries. But that's about it discounting the guys who are already on the squad. It's ironic considering at one point CB was our deepest position, with not just Vermaelen/Vertonghen/Alderweireld but also Kompany, Lombaerts and at least for the 2014 WC, Van Buyten.

Just unlucky that Lukaku doesn't stick that one big chance away. The one he kicked onto Spinazzola. The second "chance" was too hard. I mean that 'almost' header. It only became an heading opportunity after an Italia deflected it. You need a lot of luck to react quickly enough to make contact with such a ball.

Rant time. I don't get why they spent an entire season on the Kate Kane (is she alive or not) story line only for them to write her out of the show just after she has been resurrected? What was the point? Especially since I think Wallis Day made a great Kate Kane (and she looked a lot more like Rachel Skarten than Ruby Rose ever did if they were meant to be twins). I have the feeling this was them buckling a bit under the pressure. I suspect their original plan was for Kate to retake the Batwoman mantle from Ryan Wilder, but then the show's writers got criticized for the mere potential of them writing Javicia Leslie out of the show. If they wanted to stick with Ryan Wilder as Batwoman, fine, but then the entire Kate Kane subplot this season makes zero sense and is almost a huge waste of time. Wallis Day's disappointed social media posts also suggest she suspected or hoped to be involved for longer than this.

"Masks are useless outside" is not accurate, as a blanket statement. It depends on the context. e.g. on a festival setting with like 50K people watching a main stage in close proximity of each other, mask will definitely still make a difference. By contrast, in say a outdoor seated area at a restaurant, they will probably not matter very much.

I find it pretty hilarious that it took so many people this long to discover Chrissy Teigen is a trash person. One of the very first things I saw of her on social media was her mocking Jay Mohr's infant child for having been called Meredith. I have the feeling that she got away with this behavior for a long time because the people she attacked weren't much liked or were deemed to be "deserving" of her behavior. That has now clearly changed.
