Pfizer. Due to age restrictions I could only get the Moderna or BioNTech (Pfizer) vaccines. And Moderna supplies are much more limited over here, so I knew it was almost always going to be Pfizer.

The French speaking side of Belgium is also more anti-Vaxx than the Dutch-speaking side. It's pretty big in terms of the difference, actually. Light blue for percentage of people (18+) who have received one shot so far, dark blue for people who are fully vaccinated. As you can see Flanders (Vlaanderen) is considerably ahead of Wallonia (French-speaking) and Brussels (officially bi-lingual but in practical terms majority French-speaking).

Well she was like seventeen or something when she had her big break, it would be weird if she still looked the same considering she turns forty later this year.

Eh, I still don't think China would want to go to war with the U.S. Just the air superiority alone would not make it very pretty. The Chinese have made huge strides in terms of their Navy, at least.

Question for you guys: what do you guys think was the last good issue? I'm not talking great, that has been a very long time, but good. Meaning you at least liked some models and some shoots, instead of just a handful of pictures. For me it was probably 2016.

I love Christen Harper but I didn't think her shoot was particularly great. In fact, I have seen random ass shoots she has done that had her shining 100x more. I don't know who or what is to blame but models so very rarely do their best work for SISE nowadays. I guess we primarily have to look at the photographers?

Are the sales truly still good with all of this nonsense going on? Certainly the cultural impact of the issue is now limited, even compared to just ten years ago.

This is about the level I now expect from SISE. I thought Maggie & Lais were fine. Not great shoots, but some good shots in there. Yet nothing I will remember in five or ten years. Almost all of the rest was instantly forgettable. I had high hopes for Christen Harper (who I love as a model) but it was pretty meh. It's not about her, I have seen her truly shine in swimwear shoots. They somehow found a way to make her look less than her usual self, which is some accomplishment. I get that the Swimsuit issue cannot possibly be as relevant in 2021 as it was in the 80s or 90s but MJ has definitely precipitated the decline by several years with her choices.
