So how exactly does this apply to teaching about Ruby Bridges? To me the CRT craze is idiotic and is only aimed at making sure that kids simply don't learn about racism/bigotry any more. Hence why they also ban books about Ruby Bridges, or Art Spiegelman's seminal Maus.

Well I do feel like I'm improving. Just seems like it's something of a learning curve, like Dark Souls franchise. I also think their tutorial level could have been a tiny bit deeper. A lot of stuff you learn through trial and error and would have been made more sense to showcase a bit more in the early stages.

Going to see if I can give the club another try tonight. Don't want to go to the museum until I can keep the age under 30. Have watched some YT tips videos, but it seems like I'm already doing most of the stuff anyway. So it's really about mastering the combat more than I have so far. I hadn't played any combat games in a long while but I have to say Sifu is very enjoyable even if the learning curve is a bit steep for me.

Uh, finished the second level (at the club) at age 59. I do think I am getting better, but that second boss battle is just brutal. To me anyway.

Sifu level one playthrough six I got down to 26. Probably still not young enough but I'm tired of replaying the same level so I'm going to give the club a try.

I think I need to use the environment more in the middle section of the level.

I use the weapons! Just did the fourth attempt, still 41 after completing just the first level.

My favorite bit so far was the homage to Oldboy. Also the first time my character died! That guy is a lot better than I am.

On topic for once: Decided to try Sifu and damn I suck at it! First playthrough of first level, didn't even manage to finish. Second playthrough, had aged up to 44 by the time I had defeated the boss. Third playthrough, I was somehow even worse and was 55 after defeating the boss. I know I need to get this down to early twenties at the most before even bothering with moving on to the club. I think part of the problem might be playing this on PC with a keyboard, the controls are laggy (or they feel like it). Also, any combo move I attempt succeeds maybe one in three times.
