  1. I don't know what Rogan's listening numbers mean in this discussion. If he wasn't the biggest podcast in the world, Spotify never gives him 100 million dollars. It's precisely because he reaches so many people that there is obvious concern for him spreading misinformation.
  2. Like for instance these people: https://theweek.com/news/1002407/anti-critical-race-theory-parents-reportedly-object-to-teaching-ruby-bridges-book
  3. She's engaged? A hedge fund guy?
  4. The surgeon did do a very good job!
  5. Don't think they look exactly alike, but they share a certain look that I associate with "South-American of European ancestry".
  6. Bella honestly looks like they went into a plastic surgeon's office, he had her go through a lookbook and she chose Carla Bruni's face at the end.
  7. Wait, I'm right? Was just a guess, but a calculated one. Argie girls of German/European descent do have many common traits too. e.g. Leo Di Caprio's main squeeze Camila Morrone is also one and if you compare her to this girl, you will definitely notice facial similarities.
  8. Do you mean this girl? If I were to venture a guess, I would say Argentinian or something like that?
  9. Love it! But was hoping to see Emily in there too.
  10. Great duo!
  11. Russians tend to have distinct facial features that Emily doesn't really have.
  12. But not John DiMaggio as Bender?
  13. Madi Teeuws is another one I got all wrong. Based on her very Dutch surname and her vaguely Dutch facial features, I was convinced she was from Holland.
  14. Those stills didn't really enthuse me for this series. I mainly wondered where all the money had gone into...
  15. Originally I thought she was American. Definitely not English. Like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is an English model who actually does look English. If I were to choose a European ancestry, I might go with French. Some might suggest Irish because of the hair but she doesn't have a very Irish face.
  16. People have rejected books about Ruby Bridges because of CRT! I can't really assume they understand what it's supposed to be based on that alone.
  17. I'm actually always surprised she is English, she doesn't have a very English "look" about her.
  18. Are you an Emily fan?
  19. Thanks!
  20. Love this! Do you have any idea about what year this might have been?
  21. It isn't as if the depiction of civilian casualties would greatly increase the runtime? And yeah, there is never any obligation for any movie to be historically accurate. But in a world where people complain about the wrong kind of gun being used, or Tiger Tanks not really being Tigers but instead disguised T-34s, or other such stuff, I think it's fair game to also criticize a war movie for utterly failing to portray the civilian cost of a battle.
  22. It's really weird she is being treated like some sort of Chinese asset when it's pretty clear that she mostly made the switch for financial reasons.
  23. Her body is just insane.
  24. If I watch a movie about a conflict that had a significant amount of civilian losses, I expect to see that portrayed on screen. Would you watch a movie about the Malmedy massacre in which the Nazis treat their American POWs with respect (instead of slaughtering them)? Would you watch a WWII era movie about Oradour-sur-Glane that did not portray the massacre? What is omitted from these films tells its own story.
  25. I hadn't even heard of CRT until maybe like a year ago. And since then, I have mostly learned that the people angry about its existence can barely formulate its definition.
