  1. My problem with stuff like the Luke cameo is that I am tired of SW always returning to the Skywalker clan. The fun thing about Andor is that there is none of that. Not even any Jedi characters. They have this massive universe to play in and almost every property has returned to the same small group of characters for whatever reason. I want to see the universe opened up beyond that, like Tony Gilroy tried to do with Andor.
  2. I like RJ. I love Brick (which is a great movie if you like film noir). I also very much liked Knives Out.
  3. Thanks. Her face reminds me of Dua Lipa!
  4. I kind of disagree that they should make fan service the priority in making these films. Andor is great because it isn't interested at all in giving fan-friendly moments. Tony Gilroy just made the best Star Wars rebels show he could.
  5. Inventive use of that slowed down version of Take on Me as the soundtrack.
  6. I always forget she is also an Aussie. I keep on thinking she's American and then she opens her mouth and you hear the accent.
  7. It looks decent but I am very skeptical about getting a good Indiana Jones movie in 2022. Crystal Skull has sort of cratered my expectations.
  8. @Cult Icon Have you posted her before? She seemed familiar.
  9. Yeah, looks like his style.
  10. I don't think he hates playing for Belgium. He just doesn't like the way they play. He is used to possession based game. They were lumping the ball up field against Canada, which makes him essentially useless.
  11. They look happy, that is the most important thing anyway!
  12. I believe it's called "babushka syndrome". I think it's more something that was true in the Soviet years? I definitely know several Russian women who didn't lose their looks even deep into their thirties.
  13. They are cynical and mean at times, but this is brushed aside and we are meant to pretend they only play beautiful football. They tried to reinjure Mitrovic damaged ankle. Then Casemiro was allowed to elbow not one but two Serbian players in the head without punishment. Those are just a few of the dirty plays they had in just the first game.
  14. That is the weirdest thing: apparently there was no overarching story arc agreed upon for the three films, so Abrams and Johnson were just allowed to do their own thing? How do you curate a movie trilogy that way? It's amateur hour.
  15. I thought Olivia Casta was a real model only with a digitally altered face?
  16. A lot of Qataris got mad at her parading around like that.
  17. https://www.instagram.com/p/ClWR19jv3Tz/ Apparently she got into a bit of trouble for this post?
  18. I don't understand why people single out TLJ as the worst of the Disney main trilogy. All three of those films aren't great. But Rise of the Skywalker is one of the worst movies (not just SW movies but movies) I have ever seen. Fuck off!
  19. I don't like this Brazil side. I hope Spain wins the WC. Or if not them, that France retains their title.
  20. Emily has been 🔥 lately!
  21. Woman who designed them asked for them back. Apparently Jack had them made around the Ferguson protests.
  22. There's already a great The Last of US movie, it's called Children of Men. 😛
