  1. Yes! Thanks for the great Emily content!
  2. So Patty Jenkins denies it was see who ended up walking away from WW3. Will be interesting to see if DC Studios still continue with Gal Gadot.
  3. She rarely posts on her IG but when she does it's usually pretty 🔥
  4. She might soon be in need of a prison boyfriend.
  5. I didn't think much of her at the time of the casting but she did a good job with the role I think. I still don't think she is a great actress but she made the role her own.
  6. I really love the first one a lot. The second one is bad. Almost as bad as Suicide Squad (the Ayer one, not the Gunn one).
  7. More details: Apparently Jenkins walked away out of loyalty to her screenwriter Geoff Johns. Part of the decision for DC Studios (outside of the treatment they did not like) is the fact that if a potential third WW3 goes ahead with this current team, the existing contracts mean they owe Gadot 20 million and Jenkins 12 million.
  8. Anyway, more details have emerged from the DC Studios decisions. For Wonder Woman 3, apparently James Gunn and several other people in charge at that studio hated Patty Jenkins' treatment for WW3. She was given the opportunity to rework it. She opted against that and walked away instead. Gunn & DC still really like Gal Gadot in the role but it's not clear if Gadot wants to continue without Jenkins (the two of them have become very close over the course of working on the first two films).
  9. No one wants the actresses to work out as much as the men! Not because they feel sorry for the actresses but because there is no desire to see that body type in movies/TV from women. It's not some ideological shift.
  10. It's just that I don't see the huge problem then? The women aren't muscular because it wouldn't sell to have them look that way. Not because Hollywood wants to spare them the extra exercise.
  11. Well I don't get your POV either TBF. You mention that some male actors have to work hard to get in super-shape, which is true. But then you also would not want the women to do the same. So what is the problem? The women aren't working out as much as the men because it would make them look too muscular for the audience liking. Not because of any "wokeness" on the part of Hollywood.
  12. So you think female actresses should try to beef up like the Rock or Zac Efron?
  13. I don't know what point you are trying to prove. If there was a demand for women to look as muscular in movies as Zac Efron does, they would be made to look that way. They look thin and feminine because the overwhelmingly straight male audience prefers that to female body builders.
  14. It is crazy that Patty Jenkins so disappointed with Wonder Woman 1984 that she might have ended the WW franchise for DC. Especially after the first movie was very beloved. And yeah, I didn't like the sequel either, I was honestly shocked at how bad some of that was.
  15. Whether or not it's harder or easier to be muscular, point is that looks is a factor for both men and women who appear in Hollywood movies, so it's not like female actresses can show up to set overweight and hide behind body positivity.
  16. Well I won't speak for influencers, don't know enough about them but if we are talking Hollywood celebs, women are still mostly expected to be physically attractive.
  17. I didn't love it. I am so over the obsession with the Skywalker family. The SW universe is huge. Why are they always focusing on that tiny little corner of it which has already been overdone as it is?
  18. Well movies like any art form is subjective, so yes, it would be my opinion which movies I like and dislike.
  19. We were talking about Hollywood. Not sure what Cosmo and Men's Fitness covers have to do with that discussion? Point is that apart from a small number of exceptions (Melissca McCarthy, Amy Schumer, Rebel Wilson before she lost weight) almost all of the women who achieve success in Hollywood are thin and conventionally attractive).
  20. I'm not saying she is model-level attractive. You did choose two incredibly unflattering pictures of her as well.
  21. There are other interpretations. One of them is that Valanqor actually means little sister. In which case it likely refers to Rhaegar's little sister Daenerys.
  22. I wonder how much the promise of more Superman roles factored into his decision to quit The Witcher. Or if it was primarily about him being disillusioned with he writing.
  23. So according to rather loud rumors, two of James Gunn's first decisions as co-CEO of DC Studios is to shelve both Wonder Woman 3 and Man of Steel 2 Jason Momoa is also done as Aquaman after Aquaman 2. Pretty amazing if true. Also: if Henry Cavill quit The Witcher because he wanted to play Superman again, that's him screwed!
  24. One look at this dude and I know he has used steroids and I don't know what else to achieve that look. You have to be very naive to believe that was achieved 100% naturally.
  25. Phoebe Waller-Bridge? I think she is kind of cute but I get why she would not be everyone's cup of tea. To be fair I never was that into Kate Capshaw either.
