  1. Mel is really working that dress!
  2. I think Tyler Hoechlin is actually a decent TV Superman but you could probably not transpose that to a movie. They will find someone. Remember that Brandon Routh once upon a time also came out of nowhere. In any case, James Gunn seems interested in doing a Superman Year One type story, so the actor will be probably be much younger than Cavill. I wonder if they might have considered Noah Centineo had he not already been in Black Adam.
  3. Interesting! Sounds like The Witcher production staff want to ruin Henry Cavill's reputation to try and deflect blame for his departure from the show. I'm guessing the writer who was fired is Beau DeMayo (the same guy who revealed that several of the writers on the show hate the books). Since I have never heard from any other movie set that Cavill is hard to work with, I find this very dubious. I can imagine he was frustrated with the writing and increasingly let this know to the writers room. But people can't really blame him for that.
  4. LOL! He is turning all of his hobbies into actual jobs!
  5. This is what they thought was necessary to cut out of Mass Effect 2 for the Legendary Edition remaster.
  6. (Not sure what original source is, found these on Reddit)
  7. Damn, that is a truly terrible bit of plastic surgery. It's like they asked her how fake they could look on a scale of one to ten and she answered "thirteen".
  8. Musk is a clown, I did not take him very seriously even before he took over Twitter but he has really revealed himself to be a manchild since the Twitter purchase.
  9. Funny you mention butt shots (apparently) as a point of criticism. One of the things I hated about the remaster of Mass Effects original trilogy (haven't played it myself but read about it) is that they felt pressured to change the camera POV to edit out some Miranda butt shots from Mass Effect 2. Now these moments are probably super-cheesy but I think leaving them out of the remaster is disrespectful to the original game and the original game's creators. If you want to render homage to a beloved game series, leave it untouched (apart from updating it for modern hardware obviously).
  10. I've been curious about Days Gone, looks cool. Though from what I have seen, the gameplay appears a bit repetitive.
  11. I don't get why Guess don't make her their main girl, to be honest.
  12. This is insane. This will 100% have been a contributing factor in him quitting the Witcher (though probably not the only one since he was publicly complaining about the writing even during the press tour for season two). But it's pretty clear he does not jump from a secure job like the Witcher if he didn't have a great gig like Superman waiting for him. If Lauren Hissrich at all thinks she can mend her relationship with Henry, she needs to do it and dump Liam Hemsworth as soon as possible. If she wants to salvage what is left to salvage from her show, that is.
  13. Emily is such a dreamboat!
  14. Yes! Thanks for the great Emily content!
  15. So Patty Jenkins denies it was see who ended up walking away from WW3. Will be interesting to see if DC Studios still continue with Gal Gadot.
  16. She rarely posts on her IG but when she does it's usually pretty 🔥
  17. She might soon be in need of a prison boyfriend.
  18. I didn't think much of her at the time of the casting but she did a good job with the role I think. I still don't think she is a great actress but she made the role her own.
  19. I really love the first one a lot. The second one is bad. Almost as bad as Suicide Squad (the Ayer one, not the Gunn one).
  20. More details: Apparently Jenkins walked away out of loyalty to her screenwriter Geoff Johns. Part of the decision for DC Studios (outside of the treatment they did not like) is the fact that if a potential third WW3 goes ahead with this current team, the existing contracts mean they owe Gadot 20 million and Jenkins 12 million.
  21. Anyway, more details have emerged from the DC Studios decisions. For Wonder Woman 3, apparently James Gunn and several other people in charge at that studio hated Patty Jenkins' treatment for WW3. She was given the opportunity to rework it. She opted against that and walked away instead. Gunn & DC still really like Gal Gadot in the role but it's not clear if Gadot wants to continue without Jenkins (the two of them have become very close over the course of working on the first two films).
  22. No one wants the actresses to work out as much as the men! Not because they feel sorry for the actresses but because there is no desire to see that body type in movies/TV from women. It's not some ideological shift.
  23. It's just that I don't see the huge problem then? The women aren't muscular because it wouldn't sell to have them look that way. Not because Hollywood wants to spare them the extra exercise.
  24. Well I don't get your POV either TBF. You mention that some male actors have to work hard to get in super-shape, which is true. But then you also would not want the women to do the same. So what is the problem? The women aren't working out as much as the men because it would make them look too muscular for the audience liking. Not because of any "wokeness" on the part of Hollywood.
