So I saw "The Other Woman". Besides being one of the worst movies I saw all year - if not the worst - I was however pleasantly surprised at Upton's acting. I'm not saying she'll be the new Meryl Streep but she wasn't totally horrendous, which is kinda what I had been fearing.

You said it. It's her whole vibe; cheap. It is what separates her from girls that should be in the magazine. I will say that Kate Upton had some pics early on where she appeared that way a bit but by the time she was doing the dougie video she was looking a lot more wholesome and somebody who I wanted to see scantily clad. Rather than expecting it, HA! NAILED IT. And in case some of you didn't notice SI has been trying very very very hard the past couple of years to aim to women too and not just women and if people can't see that you're blind therefore basing the casting just in males taste would be wrong if what you want is to sell the magazine to women now too. I actually think the rooster since MJ took control after 2012 has been pretty good, she's making far better choices than Diane Smith tbh. There's some women I would get rid off but overall I think the past two years have been a lot stronger than the previous 5-7 years. Also I'm no for Boucher too, she is indeed a beautiful model but I agree that she isn't the best model out there and she gives me the "I'm falling asleep" vibe. I'll pass. Chrissy on the cover...

BTW, speaking more in general - and not specifically linked to Charlotte - I do agree that the SI roster has become a bit weaksauce in the last few years. I actually think the SASI has done a better job over the same period finding nice bikini bodies and interesting faces. They even picked up the ball that was dropped by the regular SI on at least two occassions: putting Catrinel in their issue and putting Michelle Vawer in their magazine after SI had ditched her.

I have no issue with this, but then we have to be consistent and say that only models who have been linked to SI through some official or unofficial source are allowed here. So that means only the casting call girls and perhaps some models who are linked to the gig through some third party source?

Born in 1981. Only recently have I started feeling truly old. I think it's the little things. Like, there's a lot of new music I'm barely aware of and I don't give a fuck.

Donnie Darko isn't a terrible favorite movie for a 19-year old. Not every teenager is a cinephile, so she might not have seen that many movies. And even though Darko is a flawed feature, it at least has some rough edges about it and a couple of fun/interesting scenes.
