If Karlie and Taylor are an item, I am happy for them. No one is made to spend their life alone and if they make each other happy, then good. On the other hand, if their relationship is real, it's their business when and if they make it public. Until then, any speculations about the nature of their bond is rather pointless. e.g. even if someone released a picture of them Frenching tomorrow, that wouldn't prove anything, at least not conclusively. We all know straight girls who have kissed other girls, even in public (sometimes even especially in public!).

Big surprise there. The writer only has that kind of female characters in his novel as well. I think he might suffer from Frank-Miller-itis.

Upton wasn't terrible in "The Other Woman". The movie itself was pretty bad though. However, I doubt anyone thought they were watching the new Meryl Streep either. So if she is to build a Hollywood career, it's likely to be in a very small niche of "pretty girl" roles. Will this be enough to keep her interested? And how long could such a career last? Her best case scenario - imho - is Neve Campbell's career (who is really a very limited actress yet still had a pretty impressive run in the late 90s, Kate should try to get whoever was her agent )

On the subject of Gigi: she is a pretty girl, but her SI shoots have been mostly boring. Of the girls in last years issue - and only on the quality of their shoots - I would be most excited with a Jessica Gomes cover.

Meh, I wouldn't be too surprised by a Chrissy cover, it's not like last years trio cover was all that great. If anything MJ has shown us that she doesn't give a fuck as long as she can throw her buddies a bone.

The reason that people like Sackhoff for the role is her work on BSG. Carol Danvers is a pilot with years of experience and used to being in a command position. That is exactly the kind of role that Sackhoff played on BSG.

Purely appearance wise, I think Katheryn Winnick would be great.

Yay for Captain Marvel. I have always liked Carol Danvers. I wonder who they will cast in the role. Some suggest Jennifer Lawrence and whilst she would be great, I hope they try to be a bit more original in their casting choice.
