  1. LOL! Right, because these are the stats from a game where one side spent 90 minutes defending. We had more passes in the final third which means we spent more time trying to attack the Argentinian goal than the other way around. Those are the key words, final third. When they were already desperate for a goal. This. I honestly do not see how World Cups have much relevance in world history other than the fact that it gives us great pleasure to watch football I think the closest I ever was to having WC in my History program was the fact that Venezuela has never been in the WC lol. Also is not a secret that with FIFA money does talk ... Like their brilliant to host the 2022 in Qata. As much as I do love my football and I get excited for the WC and all, it's clear that FIFA does whatever they want. Erm... Final third is a spatial indicator. As in, the final third of the pitch. As in, the area nearest to the oppositions goal. It is not the final third of the ninety minutes.
  2. Their goal was created after a turnover in midfield when Kompany tried to carry the ball upfield. The ball then only arrived with Higuain because it was deflected off a defender. Cannot really plan for that part.

  4. The biggest disappointment was the fact that - once again - it was made apparent that this Argentina aren't that great. I think we could have won that game with a better tactical set-up. I don't expect them to win the WC, either Holland or Brazil/Germany will prove too much.
  5. Well yeah, but the damage has already been done. Same with Croatia, didn't help them much that the Japanese ref who gave that ghost penalty to Brazil was not awarded another game.
  6. I truly hope Brazil gets battered by Germany now. Shameful behavior vs. Colombia. If I had been James Rodriguez and I had been kicked around for ninety minutes, I would have told Luiz and Alves to fuck off after the game. "Consoling" him after they had spent the entire game trying to injure him. Now that James Rodriguez is gone, this is my favorite remaining WC protagonist.
  7. Bar with a Brazil shirt = buzzkill. But the lingerie shots make up for it, thankfully.
  8. That grasshopper was huge! Worst refereeing performance I have seen since... I guess WC 2006, the Portugal-Holland game. Only that guy ruined the game by giving out too many fouls. Yesterday was the exact opposite of that. It's hard not to think that something nefarious was going on to get Brazil in the semis. Perception is reality in these things and it is the job of the governing body to make sure such a perception does not arise.
  9. We'll need a few more open games than the one we saw earlier today to do that!
  10. Annie's Boobs!
  11. Underwhelming game. Much of it was played at a glacial pace compared to some of the round of 16 and first round games. Please, please, please let Colombia-Brazil live up to the hype!
  12. I don't know, perhaps I just didn't study them in enough detail before.
  13. Do her tatas look...different?
  14. Okay. Do think we are a bit underrated in that game though.
  15. This is already our second most successful World Cup ever. If we could, by some miracle, defeat Argentina then we would match our best ever showing.
  16. The main problem is the total lack of creativity in the middle of the park. Really no more than one of Fernandinho, Luiz Gustavo and Paulinho should be starting at the same time. Not all three at the same time!
  17. I think she is gorgeous personally. Wouldn't mind seeing her in SISE. Though I doubt she will be featuring with her body as it is presented in Pretty's pictures. Weren't there some instagram pictures of her recently where she had been working out to shed some weight?
  18. Brazil looks incredibly vulnerable.
  19. Hoping that Chile can knock out Brazil, but I doubt it. They will certainly have the ref against them. I doubt that FIFA would even allow them to be knocked out prior to the semis.
  20. I think we are going out, we cannot keep on winning games whilst not playing well.
  21. If not for their finishing, Nigeria could have quite easily beaten Argentina yesterday. They will need to chore up that backline if they want to make a serious challenge for the World Cup crown.
  22. On behalf of the country of Belgium, I would like to apologize to the rest of the world for that display. Shittest game I have seen at the WC (with the caveat that I did not see Nigeria-Iran, which was apparently also dire). Happy with the three points and for that kid Origi.
  23. I doubt she is responding to us since there hasn't been a whole lot of negativity at her expense on here. At least not recently.
  24. Well Brazil getting favorable refs is the least surprising thing ever. But even I was surprised at that blatant non-penalty they got awarded vs. Croatia.
