  1. I think those are Chrissy's boobs
  2. This girl has an amazing body! And she's not very shy.
  3. I don't mind Erin doing SISE but it doesn't make me overly excited either. I'd love someone who stands out, the way Kate did when she just got started for SI.
  4. Well it's true that this is objective to a certain extent.
  5. I really wish Bar would not talk about the ongoing conflict in her country. It's not a good look to post anti-war quotes on instagram that are accompanied by pictures of her running along the beach. This is not some abstract notion, real people are having their lives destroyed as we speak.
  6. Hahaha Don't see a whole lot wrong with that myself, it has to be said.
  7. It's a good thing that Kate feels comfortable enough in her own body to let the reins loose at times.
  8. Boo! She's gone from an amazing body to looking too thin.
  9. I have to say that the way Candice has looked in the past 10-12 months is as good as any time since 2008.

Didn't see the Gisele bit either, but I follow some sports journalists on Twitter and they mentioned she was on the pitch with Puyol prior to the game. Also, they were amused by the fact that she towered over the former Barça defender. Understandable, Puyol is only 1m78 and Gisele will have been wearing high heels (and is 1m80 to begin with).

Gisele was on the field with Puyol prior to the game.

Glad Germany won, even though the final was probably their worst game at the tournament. Would have been a disgrace for Argentina to win it after such a poor tournament though. And they could have very well done so had Higuain brought his shooting boots.

I doubt the two Dutch CBs would fare well in a back four.
  14. NBA

LeBron going back to Cleveland! I guess all those front-running models who support the Heat will be sad... for two minutes.

They have always been stupid. I guess they can be meaningful to smaller nations who make the semis (and then lose). e.g. Croatia in '98 really celebrated their win in that game.

Arsenal is also linked to Sami Khedira. If Wenger pulls that off, they could be a genuine title contender this year. Though even then they could probably use one more top class CB.
  17. Does anyone have a link to the video those gifs come from?

Well that is the thing, I would be able to forgive Argentina's cynical, defensive tactics if it was true that Messi is all they have. But even with Di Maria out and Aguero not fully fit, they still have so much attacking talent besides Messi that it is embarrassing how defensive and cautious they play. At least Brazil has the excuse that - besides Neymar - they had absolute shit playing up front at this tournament.

Apparently no one else wanted to take the first one. Which is rather odd.

The problem with that penalty was that he sold it too emphatically. There was contant though, thus it was perfectly warranted for the referee to give a spot kick. But Robben will never make friends amongst neutrals with the comically theatrical way he drops to the grass at even minimal contact.

I don't think that "well the other teams were just as bad" is a justification for playing pretty shit all tournament long imho. This Argentina is the worst finalist since Argentina back in 1990 in that they never truly played a great game and got through courtesy of a single goal (QFs) and penalties (semis). In fact, in that respect it's rather amazing how much this is like 1990. QFs, won a dire game by a single goal (Caniggia in 1990, Higuain now). In semis, beat a European country on penalties after a possibly even worse game (Italy in 1990, Holland now). In the final, meet the best team in the tournament (West-Germany in 1990, Germany now). Sorry, I can't agree with the notion that these are the two most deserving sides. Colombia would have deserved to be there ahead of Argentina. Even Holland at least gave us that wonderful second half vs. Spain. Argentina have only been frustrating to watch all tournament long. It's even more scandalous when you consider the individual attacking talent on the team. It's like Sabella was given the parts to build a Ferrari but decided to make a station wagon instead.

Really hoping for Germany, but I doubt they will make it. It's hard for anyone to win a game if the officials are on the other teams side.

Also, of course Argentina '78 was crooked. It was held in a military dictatorship FFS! That tournament should have been boycotted by all self-respecting democracies.

LOL! Right, because these are the stats from a game where one side spent 90 minutes defending. We had more passes in the final third which means we spent more time trying to attack the Argentinian goal than the other way around. Those are the key words, final third. When they were already desperate for a goal. This. I honestly do not see how World Cups have much relevance in world history other than the fact that it gives us great pleasure to watch football I think the closest I ever was to having WC in my History program was the fact that Venezuela has never been in the WC lol. Also is not a secret that with FIFA money does talk ... Like their brilliant to host the 2022 in Qata. As much as I do love my football and I get excited for the WC and all, it's clear that FIFA does whatever they want. Erm... Final third is a spatial indicator. As in, the final third of the pitch. As in, the area nearest to the oppositions goal. It is not the final third of the ninety minutes.
