Roberto Martinez is an incredibly underwhelming choice. Apparently Prandelli, Ragnick, Rudi Garcia and Advocaat were the rest of the seriously considered candidates and I honestly think I would have preferred all of them over Martinez.

Some of Erin Heatherton's revelations suggest that the relationships are pretty shallow, if they exist at all. I guess Hannah Davis and Hannah Ferguson will have something of real bond through Hannah Davis' brother (he is still together with Hannah Ferguson, right?). I also remember that Nina Agdal and Alyssa Miller seemed to genuinely hit it off during press stuff they did together. But yeah, these are basically young women who are thrust together, it's not like there is a magic formula to make them become friends in real life. Especially since there will be some built-in rivalry at play.

If she was tired of modeling, she was absolutely right to quit the business. But she should perhaps start looking for a different career. Idleness and having a lot of money is not a great combination for most people.

I think he is pretty happy with his career. Remember that before Koeman picked him up at Feyenoord, he had never amounted to much. Now he's had a couple of good seasons at Southampton and he's become a full Italy international. If people had told him this back in 2012, he probably would have called them crazy. He also has an insanely hot WAG. So he at least has that going for him, which is nice.

There is nothing wrong with consenting adults of any age hooking up, but there is a point where it becomes a bit sad. Like Mick Jagger impregnating his 29-year old girlfriend at the age of 72. Likewise, it's a bit weird for a 42-year old man like Leo to still be macking on chicks in their early 20s. Especially since at least some of his old possé have moved on (e.g. Tobey Maguire).

I think Kate is someone he views more as a buddy than as a potential girlfriend. Probably also why the relationship has lasted this long, unlike his romantic relationships with women.

To be fair to Portugal, they were probably better than their results suggested. Very much the opposite of France, who managed to win games in the first round in which they failed to impress. I think the issue with Minka might have been Leonardo Di Caprio syndrome. If she doesn't fall into the age/2 +7 bracket, she's too old for him.

I like Belen just because she was the central character in what must be described as the best ever doping excuse story. After her then boyfriend Marco Borriello (soccer player) was caught using - I think - steroids he instead claimed he had ingested the corticoids whilst performing oral on his girlfriend after she had applied a vaginal cream.

She seemed quite keen on the Aussie farmer's cucumber. I'll get me coat.
