  1. Right, so if that kind of physique still brings criticism and requests to lose more weight, perhaps VS needs to re-evaluate their standards?
  2. Well I don't remember watching those VSFS editions and thinking "wow, Erin has really gotten fat" or "she didn't work out enough for this". So perhaps their demands were a bit over the top?
  3. Source: her Instagram account.
  4. Wow, she is so gorgeous!
  5. I used to like Alexis before she lost even more weight.
  6. Nice.
  7. I love how goofy she is.
  8. Damn! That body!
  9. I have no problem with Kim Kardashian playing the game to get wealthy. More power to her. I do think it's nonsense to re-frame that as a feminist act. It's not. A truly feminist act tries to subvert the patriarchy. By making her money as a sex object, Kim Kardashian is reaffirming the roles that our culture has deemed acceptable to women. The dominant culture has always allowed some individuals who are members of an oppressed class to gain wealth and success. But that success is gained on the terms of the dominant culture. e.g. C.J. Walker, a black woman, the daughter of two slaves, who managed to become independently wealthy during an era which was both incredibly sexist and racist. Her success as an individual did not mean that life was still not very difficult for most people who shared her gender or race identity.
  10. Based on Wonder Woman mythology, most likely the former. If this is anything like a canon origin story, then Steve Trevor will crash-land on Themyscira and Diana's mother will eventually decide that it is time for her child to go into the "real" world. The actual time spent with the Amazons will probably be limited and of those, I guess only two will get a lot of screen time. Connie Nielsen (since she plays Queen Hyppolita) and Robin Wright (who plays Antiope, the Queen's sister). My guess is that Doutzen will be in ensemble shots with a small group of Amazon warriors and she might have one or two lines of dialogue. I would be surprised if her role is any bigger than that.
  11. I'm okay with having Kate back. Of course there is a chance that MJ might turn it into a "Return of the Queen" type OTT circus that will make it annoying, but that won't be Kate's fault. Another Kate solo cover might be worth it just for how much it will piss off Chrissy.
  12. There seems to be some weird desire to turn Kim Kardashian into a feminist icon. I honestly don't know why.
  13. If we get Liz, they better throw in Denise too.
  14. She is very beautiful in those Bonprix pictures. I love her figure.
  15. There is probably some contractual obligation for her to have some presence in the VSFS. It's not always easy for models (but also actresses) to schedule around their pregnancies. e.g. Vera Farmiga had to shoot "Up in the Air" right after she gave birth to (I believe) her first child.
  16. Naah, more likely she won't vote at all.
  17. She is so fine!
  18. She's in Paris again? I hope they warned everyone who is vaguely Northern-African/Middle-Eastern looking.
  19. Marloes is beyond gorgeous but why does VS always overdo it so with their photoshopping. Her skin looks barely human in some of the snaps.
  20. Wow, Lais really steals the attention in that snap!
  21. I'm not going to lie, it would be kind of hot if Elsa truly was some kind of ice queen bitch in real life.
  22. Don't mind the twerking, but her butt looks a bit weird from that angle.
  23. Wait, the models don't get any compensation for being in SISE?
  24. She's a bit goofy, but in a good way.
  25. To me there are different degrees of acceptance. Of course it's absurd to expect all women (and men) to look like models. But there is a whole range of body shapes in between "model" and "overweight". If you are carrying around so much weight that it will almost certainly negatively impact your health, I'm not sure if it's in the best interest of everyone involved if the message you get is "you do you". How is it different from someone who smokes or someone who drinks too much? You don't help people by enabling their bad habits.
