Happy birthday Candice! I find it rather amazing she is still only 28. She has seemingly been around forever.

BTW, I know she is supposed to emulate iconic shots with that shoot. One of them is definitely that famous shot of Charlotte Rampling in the suspenders and with the Nazi cap. But I know I've seen the shot where she is crouching before too. Can anyone tell me what shot that picture is based on?

The black and white shots are hot. But that cover... I will never understand the thing where they photoshop away the nipples. If you're afraid to show them, just put your model in an outfit that covers them.

I thought season two was a bit of a let-down. The three last episodes were great, but what came before barely advanced the plot. It was like they hit the pause button until the very end of the season.

I did like "Hush", now that you mention it. And "The Conjuring 2".

I haven't seen that one yet. But it does read like something I would enjoy. Another film I mostly enjoyed was "Blood Father". But even that isn't something I expect to remember very fondly five years from now. My favorite movies that I saw this year were slightly older fare, like "Memories of Murder", "T-Men", "Les yeux sans visage", "The Hitch-hiker" (the Ida Lupino version), ... I'm coming around to the now well-established idea that most of the best writing is now done on TV.
