  1. Some good bits in there, some others that fell a bit flat. My favorite joke was the Weinstein one, which isn't in his opening monologue.
  2. True, but very few comedians were ever as good as he was at his peak. Whenever I need a laugh I'll still watch his Prince skit.
  3. The best bit was when he called out Tim Cook and Apple for their working conditions in China and they cut to Tim Cook himself. The fake laugh that guy forced upon his lips was unfortunately not as convincing as the ones some of the actors managed.
  4. Ricky Gervais was his usual entertaining self at the Golden Globes but his joke at the expense of Tim Cook and Apple is something you'd only do if you made your fuck you money long ago.
  5. She has a very cute smile.
  6. Yes. I'm unsure about her myself, there are some shots of her out there in which I think she looks really hot and others in which she's pretty forgettable.
  7. What do you guys think of Stephanie Geldof?
  8. Her body is amazing.
  9. She really, really likes to let her girls breathe. Not that I'm complaining!
  10. So little new stuff from our Bo, is she still working?
  11. Well for the NBA, the problem with Daryl Morey's China comments is the fact that apparently 10% of their money is now made in China. I don't think anyone in any position of power at the NBA disagreed with Morey. It's just that money talks and China is very willing to crack that whip.
  12. I hope for her it turns out alright but people who are so pathological violent will likely not go through civilian life without any flourishes of brutality.
  13. Good on Martha Hunt, she certainly has gone up in my estimation with that principled stance.
  14. It's actually a mini-series. If you haven't seen it, I'd check it out, it's really well done. "The Pacific" is a good companion piece, it's basically the same show but about American soldiers in the Pacific theater instead of Europe.
  15. Well then I hope you never find yourself on the wrong side of a bonesaw.
  16. I'm seeing a lot of hypocrisy in the body positivity movement's reaction to Adele's weight loss. I've seen baseless claims of eating disorders, the notion that she only lost the weight through some form of self-hate... Isn't the central belief of their entire movement that people should be allowed to feel good about their bodies regardless what shape or size it is? So shouldn't this apply just as much to the thinner Adele as it did to the fatter Adele?
  17. A lot of famous actors are in Band of Brothers. Tom Hardy is another one. Basically they hired a lot of Brits because it was a large ensemble and they are generally cheaper. But then some of them went on to become huge movie stars.
  18. It does legitimize the regime. Why do you think they are paying these folks up to eight figures just to show up and post about it on their social media accounts? It's also likely not a coincidence that five men were just sentenced to death in the Khasoggi trial (which is been described as a sham trial by any impartial international observer). Basically five members of the kill squad which was sent down to Turkey to kill and dismember him were sentenced to death but anyone who actually ordered the hit is going to walk away unpunished. I see all of this part of a conscious P.R. strategy by the kingdom.
  19. Did she also go to Saudi-Arabia for that music festival?
  20. It's one of the most oppressive regimes in the world. Any woman over there who would desire Lorena's level of self-expression would be imprisoned or worse. They just killed and dismembered a U.S. based columnist last year!
  21. I've seen the presence confirmed of Alessandra Ambrosio, Olivia Culpo, Nadine Leopold, Cindy Bruna, Winnie Harlow, Stella Maxwell, Jourdan Dunn, Irina Shayk, Romee Strijd, Joan Smalls, Elsa Hosk and Rose Bertram for that music festival in Saudi-Arabia. Any models I missed who were also there?
