The functionality did not change as far as I am concerned but it was also never really ideal either imo. I don't mind an IG-post once in a while but the IG-"spamming" is a problem for me. The IG embedding itself including Facebook, Twitter, gfycat and Bellazon take long to load (subjective impression), while uploaded images, youtube and vimeo load fast. Even deleted Instagram posts are loading an empty frame (slow). In my opinion the IG-embeddings are way to large, I'd prefer if it was possible to post 2 or 3 embeddings next to each other. (maybe people would stop posting several posts for each Instagram link, maybe not) quick example The main problem is the usage of some users, they are spamming the threads with IG-embeddings (subjective impression). (I would go as far to "accuse" some of them of artificially boosting their post count with those pointless embeddings). Instead of posting several embeddings into one post/reply they create a new post/reply for each IG-embedding. (5 to 20 posts within a few minutes) The email notification is a useful feature but when you get 20+ emails for pointless instagram post you could easily view on IG itself, even without having an IG account, is very annoying. Also I'd prefer, when they upload the the image from an IG post to BZ, they would not embed the IG post but just post the text-link instead.. like this Ultimately it comes down to the behavior of individual users for a better BZ experience...
