I remember Halle Berry talking about this in an interview. Earlier in her career, she went out for a role as a junkie, and they said she was too pretty for the role.

  3. Overrated feels strong, but maybe you're right. Nostalgia can be strong. As far as you saying she lasted too long, some of that can be down to who they are paired with. There are others you might expect to still be in it out who just got paired with someone they were not going to beat.

  10. ^^^ In a match-up between my top two nominees, I guess I can't be disappointed in the result.

I like that a Limer quote from January gets something going now. Although I agree with these two, there is nothing wrong with not liking a show. If you don't like it and don't want to give it another try, that's fine. I can't think of an example right now, but I'm sure there are shows I don't like which many people enjoy a lot. Some people just disagree on what they like.

My initial thoughts: - I feel comfortable saying this is the best Spider-Man movie. It has been a while since I have seen the Tobey trilogy, maybe the first one can compete with this one for me, but I don't think so. - It was weird seeing the Sony/Columbia stuff at the beginning of what is really a Marvel Studios movie. - I think they did a good job combining the superhero aspects with the dealing with being a teenager aspects, better than anything I can think of. - Funny post-credit scene made me laugh.

  18. The anterior pelvic tilt is fairly ubiquitous at this point. I wonder what the slang for that is on set, or maybe it's just "stick it out".

    The House : surprisingly disappointing
  21. Don't cry, Pinky. It was a good comp. It was their fault if they didn't stick around.

I'm not sure what I think of Cara as an actress, I guess I need more information to work with. She is still early in her career, so it will probably take more roles for me to form an opinion. I don't think Valerian will have an impact + or –, at least for me. I hope she continues to get work because I normally enjoy her in talk show interviews. She is usually fun. I'm done rambling now. sorry
  23. You would think it would be easier to stick with this comp since it went more quickly than some because of the smaller number of models/actresses involved.
  24. I would hate so much to find out my face or name had been used by one of these groups.
