Earlier today I stumbled upon quite an interesting video detailing the development and eventual cancellation of George Miller's unmade Justice League project. Given what Miller accomplished with the Mad Max series, his vision for Justice League was always one of my favorite "what ifs" in the world of film, but being reminded of that got me thinking about how many more "what ifs" were out there. Are there any others, regardless of genre, era or reason for cancellation, that stand out as good examples?

I was so impressed by this movie that I simply had to start a thread. DC Comics put out a graphic novel in the mid eighties and this movie is based on that comic. While the story line deviates from the comics, it definitely captures the spirit. If you like great writing, intelligent storytelling, intense action, and wonderful acting...you'll love this movie. Of course, there are many categories, there are the emotional ones, the action junkies, the intellectual ones... I don't want to list all because: 1) I don't want to stereotype, 2) I don't know how many categories there are. The action junkie just love actions, they don't care about the plot. I have this scene in my head, hopefully someone knows what it's from... some guy (probably not too tough) gets the snot beat out of him, I think in a bar. he's tossed out on his butt. I'm not sure if he goes right back in, or comes back after a while, but he goes back in and smacks a lot of guys around. I just saw this the other night and it was the funniest movie I've seen in a long time. It's done as a mockumentary and just had such an excellent cast.
