A place where fans of Westerns can kick back and talk about their favorites western movies and/or actors. The Western is a genre seen in film, television, radio, literature, painting and other visual arts. Westerns are devoted to telling stories set primarily in the later half of the 19th century in what became the Western United States (known as the American Old West or Wild West), but also in Western Canada, Mexico (The Wild Bunch, Vera Cruz), Alaska (The Far Country, North to Alaska) and even Australia (Quigley Down Under, The Proposition). Some Westerns are set as early as the Battle of the Alamo in 1836 but most are set between the end of the American Civil War and …

Suggest the best scenes ever for a specific movie scene. Then, at the end, rank them from 1 to 5. I want to know which movie has best fight scene. Not any fight scene. I want the one where they fight using sais (my fave weapon). I haven't seen many fight scenes suing sais yet. So far, I think matrix reloaded has the best sai fight scene... Has anyone watched Electra yet?

Here is the thread for you to admit to your guilty pleasure movies. This could be a guilty pleasure for any reason. Like whether they are hated or crap acted movies but you still love it, or the type of movies you watch mainly to see a certain person in etc. Some of my guilty pleasure movies are the really crappy acted/bad effects type movies. Movies that i wont admit to liking lol... - Street Fighter - Mortal Kombat 1 & 2 - DOA: Dead or Alive - Snakes on a Plane - Anaconda - House of Wax Then if i choose movies based on just watching for the actor i would say Zoe Saldana. I only watced Vantage Point just to see her small 10 minute role. Or i sometimes go back…

Well, we all know about Twilight and we know that they 're going to make New Moon too, based on Stephenie 's Meyer second book of Twilight Saga, New Moon. On Saturday we learned that the new director would be Chris Weitz. Check this out! LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Chris Weitz will direct " New Moon ," the sequel to the smash vampire romance "Twilight," after that film's director Catherine Hardwicke failed to reach a deal with producer Summit Entertainment . The hiring of Weitz, whose credits include "About A Boy" and " The Golden Compass ," prompted a carefully calibrated campaign of reassurance on the part of creators. The drive to keep alive the name of a young American woman who died beneath a U.S.-made bulldozer driven by an Israeli soldier in Palestine continues in Simone Bitton's sober documentary "Rachel." The idealistic Rachel Corrie was one of a team of activists from the U.S. and the U.K. who lived with Palestinian families in the most dangerous areas of the Gaza Strip in 2003 in an attempt to ameliorate the actions of the Israeli military demolishing homes close to the exclusion wall it had erected there. She was the subject of "My Name is Rachel Corrie," a very moving 2005 play put together by actor Alan Rickman and journalist Katherine Viner. Starring Megan Dodds, it playe…

ā€œLa Vida Locaā€ reflects a depressing and hopeless reality. The documentary, by photojournalist and filmmaker Christian Poveda (you can see his bio here), follows some of the members of ''la dieciocho,'' the so-called 18th Street gang in a poor San Salvador neighborhood. ā€œLittle Oneā€ is a 19-year-old mother with an enormous "18," reflecting her membership in the 18th Street gang, tattooed on her face. The numbers stretch from above her eyebrows down onto her cheeks. ā€œMorenoā€ is a 25-year-old male member of the same gang who works in a local bakery set up by a nonprofit group called Homies Unidos. The bakery eventually folds when its owner is arrested and sentenced to 1…

Alright, gamers, here ya go: World of Warcraft is now going to be a major motion picture and it already has big names attached, including producers from The Dark Knight and the director of Spiderman, Sam Raimi. No details yet about what the movie will be be about, but Raimi is said to start work on the project as soon as the shitshow known as Spiderman 4 is complete ----- Even if it's terrible, It's worth it to pelt shit at Alliance players who jump gleefully from their mom's mini-van. this is an evolution of the other movie game. in this one, you come up with two film professionals (directors, writers and producers are also ok), and the next person has to figure out what they've worked on together. for example, if I said, 'Gary Oldman, Winona Ryder', you could say "Dracula". or if I said, 'Owen Wilson, Luke Wilson', you'd have a lot of options. of course, you can check IMDB if you're stuck. I'll start with an easy one, Bill Murray & Scarlett Johansson

After being black listed himself as a teacher in Alabama because of his civil rights activities, he moved to Chicago, received a master’s degree in psychology, and then landed a job as guidance counselor at Providence St. Mel, an all-black parochial school on Chicago’s notorious drug-ridden, gang-ruled West Side. A year after his arrival, Adams became principal, only to be told the following…

  17. Transformers 2 is coming out and it's been called Rise of the Fallen. Aparently there are a ton of rewrites that took place. and a bunch of fake concept art (but very good concept art). It appears that there will be combining transformers in this. The name Devastaor has been thrown around and there even a creation of it. (not sure if fake or not). And I've also heard that Megatron might be back ,but reborn ... so I'm guessing Galvatron. And I've also seen some art with what looks like an aircraft carrier or something. I wonder if that means Tidal Wave. Well they say it supposed to be 10 times bigger and all these unconfirmed reports certainly seem that way. Time will tell…

Anne Rice's 'Vampire Chronicles' Returns, Who is Lestat?! We've been scrambling all week to confirm the following report, especially since it came from a very reliable source and is insanely logical considering the popularity of vampires these days. I guess something good has come from the success of Twilight as Bloody Disgusting has learned exclusively that Universal Pictures is looking to restart Anne Rice's The Vampire Chronicles, which tells the tale of the vampire Lestat Du Lioncort (through his narration), a nobleman-turned-vampire in the late 18th century. No word yet on how they plan on unrolling this franchise, but we did find out who they are talking with to rep…
