We list our most beloved movie cliches here and where you have seen them. I'll start: A knows how to handle guns & other firearms well. Most probably a cop. B doesn't know anything about guns and has probably never touched a gun before. In times of crisis, B has to learn how to defend ermself, so A briefly taught erm, in under 5 mins or so, how to shoot. "Just aim and pull the trigger", said A. Last I see this: In I, Robot, Will Smith taught Bridget Monayhan's character to shoot.

Have any of you seen You Again? I work with Touchstone, trying to get the word out about the movie. I’d love to hear if you are enjoying the previews or if you've seen the movie! Beyond the basic synopsis, I think this tagline sums up the vibe pretty well – “What doesn’t kill you…is going to marry your brother.” People seem pretty excited about it, do you think you'll check it out? Just in case you haven't seen it yet, check out the trailer here: trailers.apple.com/trailers/disney/youagain/

The Cove is a 2009 documentary film that analyzes and questions Japan's dolphin hunting culture. It was awarded the (2010) Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. The film is a call to action to halt mass dolphin kills; change Japanese fishing practices; and to inform and educate the public about the risks, and increasing hazard, of mercury poisoning from dolphin meat. The film is told from an ocean conservationist's point of view. The film highlights the fact that the number of dolphins killed in the Taiji dolphin hunting drive is several times greater than the number of whales killed in the Antarctic, and claims that 23,000 dolphins and porpoises are killed in Japan…

This was a surprisingly touching and well-made documentary about the lives of Antarctic penguins. I can't imagine too many people watching this and being disappointed. Of course, it helps if you like penguins to begin with, but the cinematography was beautiful, and the penguins themselves were very endearing. Has anyone else seen this? Are there any movies you saw as a kid that just frightened the hell out of you? I don't mean movies that weren't age appropriate because it's probably fair to assume that we've all been there at one time or another, but ones that were ostensibly aimed at or skewed towards a young audience and still succeeded in being genuinely scary.

"Giù la testa" is an Italian movie on the Mexican revolution, made by Sergio Leone with Ennio Morricone's music. Initially it was called "Giù la testa, coglione" (translated by "Duck, you sucker" in English), but it was censored. It was finally called "a Fistful of dynamite" in English and "Il était une fois la révolution" in French (none of theses titles being related to the Italian title ). Whatever the title, it's a great movie. Do you know/like this movie and its music? Cast: Rod Steiger: Juan Miranda James Coburn: John H. "Sean" Mallory Romolo Valli: dottor Villega Antoine Saint-John: colonnello Günt…
