Kelly Futerer was born and raised in California in the swinging 60’s, from an early age she was made to appreciate the benefits of combining fun, sexiness and intelligence. Which led to a very successful career as an international model and subsequently to her career as a painter where she goes by the name Kelly X. Through the tutorage of William Ward Beecher, Sumi-E and Suhaku Flag, she has developed her own style combining her professional understanding of natural pose and attitude that captures the spirit of a woman on canvas.

Jason Brooks was born in London on February 23 1969. He grew up by the sea in Brighton, England, and began drawing and painting at an unusually young age receiving his first freelance commissions in his early teens. Brooks studied Graphic Design at St Martin's College, where he began working regularly for British Vogue after winning the Vogue Sotheby's Cecil Beaton Award for Fashion Illustration. While at St Martin's, he began travelling widely, drawing and painting colourful travel journals. Travel has been a recurrent theme in his work and his adventures continue to inspire and inform his visual repertoire. After a Master of Arts Degree in Illustration at the Royal Coll…

Crop circles are geometrical formations of flattened crops found in England and elsewhere. They have been found in wheat, barley, canola, rye, corn, linseed and soy. The phenomenon itself was observed in its current form after notable appearances in England in the late 1970s. Various explanations were offered for the phenomenon, which soon spread around the world. In 1991, two men named Doug Bower and Dave Chorley revealed that they had been making crop circles in England since 1978 using planks, rope, hats, and wire as their only tools.Circlemakers.org, a UK-based arts collective founded by John Lundberg have been creating complex crop circles since the early 1990s. I've been a fan of Dennis Lehane since I first saw Shutter Island in theaters. My ultimate favorite novel of his would have to be a tie between Shutter Island and Mystic River. When did you first become a fan of his? And which of his novels do you like the most?

George R.R. Martin official website From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. A Song of Ice and Fire (ASoIaF) is an epic fantasy series of novels by George R. R. Martin. It is the best-known of his works, and has spawned a successful trading card game and board game. The books are known for extremely detailed and intriguing characters, sudden and often violent plot twists, and no lack of cunning schemes and intricate political maneuvering. In a genre where magic usually takes center stage, this series has a reputation for its limited and subtle use of magic, employing it as an ambiguous and often sinister background force. Hello friends! Here is my 1st tribute to one of our members, Vanja. Although I sent you a request directly asking permission to use one of your images as a reference I could not wait for a reply. I was too excited by the concept. And started painting. In any case this piece is a direct tribute to Rembrandt and the phenomenal beauty that is Vanja. You are immortalized here as I believe Rembrandt would have seen you through his eyes. This draws directly from Portrait of Saskia 1633 and a ton of pictures I found online of you. I had no idea you were so published! That made painting you much easier than I had thought as I had many many good angles of your beautiful…

ALBERTO VARGAS was born in Arequipa, Peru, on February 9, 1896, as the son of successful photographer Max T. Vargas. After extensive art studies in France and Switzerland, he immigrated to New York City before World War I and became the official painter for the Ziegfield Follies in 1919. In 1934, he moved to Hollywood, California, where he painted posters and designed sets for major movie studios. When he was hired to replace pinup artist George Petty at Esquire magazine in 1940, his work became so popular that during World War II, his female seminudes adorned uniform jackets, aircrafts, and battleships. In the late 1950s, Hugh Hefner invited Alberto …

I did a search and couldn't find a previous topic on this, so I thought I'd start one by saying I've always wanted to see a Broadway play and finally got the opportunity Saturday night. I saw "Wicked" at the Gershwin Theatre and it was great! The story was creative and funny, the lead actresses were phenomenal, there were tons of gorgeous 18-25ish women, and Oprah was in the audience.

The Extra Generation: The Monumental Screw-Up of Michael A. Stackpole by Nicholas J. Branski As an aspiring author, I spend a lot of time pouring over reserach material that relates to the topic I intend to write on. Recently I have wanted to write a re-interpritation of the three Star Wars Preqeul movies, Episode's I-III. On top of that I wanted to create an extensive background plot covering the events leading up to the new prequel trilogy. In short, I wanted to re-write most of what happened during the twenty years leading up to the emergence of the Galactic Empire. From all of the Star Wars books I have read, by far my favorite character is Corran Horn. I was introd…
