I have been interested in the culture for a while now, but I realized that I know of no actual Native American actresses and models. For a while, I thought that Angelina Jolie was a true representation of one when she claimed to be part Iroquois on Inside the Actor's Studio, but her father, Jon Voight, claimed that was a lie utilized in order to make him and Marcheline Bertrand, Angelina's mother, sound exotic. I am actually not sure how to pronaunce a lot of their names, so, hoping I'm not alone, let's make a guide to pronauncing various model names. Face it, many of them aren't easy because of the different nationalities. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts as to what defines this era if anything at all. The supermodel era I suppose was defined by some of the top models being known and treated like celebrities. After that it seems came the heroin chic era by the drugged out look, thinspiration and the late 90s to mid 2000s seemed to be the Brazilian invasion starting off with initially a bunch of blonde Euro Brazilians late 90s to early 2000s and from then a wider range of Brazilians.
