As some who has lived both in the East and the West, yes they are slightly more modest in the East (in parts of North & South East Asian at least) but not as modest as some in the West might think. If you look at a lot of Eastern media it is not that uncommon to see scantily clad women. Also, they don't censor lingerie in the East was much as they do in the USA. Like stores that sell undergarments don't try hide their products as much as they do in the USA. Also, in HK there are streets of outdoor vendors that sell bras, panties and shape wear. Granted you need to know your size as you can't try the items on and they usually don't do measuring. It is one of those things that is hard to fully explain bc you have to experience it as it might seem strange but really is not if you understood the culture better. What a fascinating post! thank you for taking the time to type that out. That's great to hear they don't censor as much as we do. That's so neat about the outdoor undergarment sales in HK. I know nothing about Asian culture, so I love learning about it from people who have experienced it, but sadly there aren't many of those people where I live. I had a friend from South Korea in high school, but we lost touch years ago. I love this competition because I don't know a whole lot of Asian models, and I'm finding some I really like. BZ is great exposure to what other countries and cultures are like.
