Red gloves would have been better

I'm not crazy about the gloves either, they are too plain and... I don't know how they could have made it better, but it is not the best look ever. But the crown I'm gonna disagree, I still think it is the cutest small crown. I guess a Tiara wouldn't be too royal, it's something a princess would use, not a queen. Unless it was a huge heavy crown, but that would totally steal the attention from the bra. We can't forget that they sell bras, not crowns.

 

Queens wear tiara's all time, when not waring crowns.  A tiara can be made to look just as regal as a crown and it would fit the FB so much better.

I know, but usually queens use a big tiara, something heavy and opulent. If they made a tiara, it would have to be big to match a queen status, and would be either heavy or would draw too much attention. I think they wanted to play a little bit, not exactly crown her as a queen. I guess a tiara would be not even a repetition of something there was before, but it would be too predictable and steal attention from the bra.

And I'm still hoping they change something at the last minute about those gloves.

My point exactly. This is an outfit based on a classic look of a British queen, not a "let's crown our queen Candice". Although they could be a little flexible about the gloves and not make her wear them, I guess it wouldn't be too faithful to the whole idea of a queen. Once again, we love Candice and she is like a queen to us, but her outfit is part of a whole concept and changing those things would take the concept away.

You Need to See What's Happening at the Back of This Victoria's Secret Model's Hair

The one-side-swept-back hair trend is going strong, and when I see this hairstyle on celebrities, I always like to check out how they secure that one side back. Sometimes there's a pretty hair clip involved, or a more subtle bobby pin, or a little twist of some kind. But I've never seen this version before...

At a Victoria's Secret event in NYC yesterday, VS Angel Candice Swanepoel had her super-thick hair secured half back in this giant French braid. I don't hate the half-back braid in theory, but this one is so chunky (and two-toned) that it's kind of distracting, and that obvious hair elastic isn't helping. The whole thing just feels totally disconnected from what's happening in the front of Candice's hair. I would have liked to see a much smaller braid instead, one secured with a subtle clear elastic or some bobby pins.

That's why Victoria's Secret is an oxymoron. Kind of funny.

I thought the theme was royal, which could mean any form of royalty, from princess to queen, and obviously VS is going towards queen, but I think a tiara would have been just as fitting with the theme. I personally don't mind the crown, it's not the best, but it's also not bad in my opinion.

The theme is "British Invasion" And I agree about the crown, I like it but they could do better.
