I've read many times about this theory that at those levels of fame (and especially in the modeling industry) there are many open relationships or ones where the partners aren't “exclusive,” as they say, at least for a while or during a certain phase. Whether it’s something explicitly agreed upon by both parties or a sort of unspoken understanding, that would explain why many couples stay together despite rumors (and often more than just rumors, but actual evidence) of infidelity on the part of many of them, usually on the boyfriend’s side. After all, it’s an industry where there are likely to be weeks or months when they barely have time to see each other, surrounded by many temptations… so I wouldn’t be surprised if Candice and Hermann (or any other couple), while they were officially a couple, had both been with other people, without that constituting infidelity as such. This dynamic can change when they decide to start a family or simply because they agree to be exclusive, and then involving third parties becomes much more toxic or outright cheating.

Yeah, if it were up to me, I wouldn't do it and would keep it here so anyone can read it and participate. But if we're bothering other users or discussing topics that the moderators consider sensitive (even though we always try to be respectful, at least in my case), well, I don't know. I feel like Candice has gotten a little stuck in this role of just being a lingerie or bikini model, which is something that has unfortunately happened to more than one Victoria's Secret icon, at least for a while. Although we don't know if it's because she wanted it that way, because her agency hasn't managed her well or because the industry only sees her as capable of doing “sexy girl” jobs, or maybe a mix of all of those things.

While I’ve joined in on the discussion and find all this gossip about Candice entertaining, I can understand why some of you might be getting a little tired of it, so I’m not sure if you’d like to consider creating a private message group here on the forum for those interested in the gossip, so as not to bother those who don’t want to read it. As far as I understand, it’s possible to create private message groups with multiple users (or at least it used to be). I’d be interested in joining. I don’t feel comfortable thinking I might be bothering others. Although, by the way, it’s not as if Candice’s career has been particularly dynamic and full of content in recent years. Beyond her work with VS (which is usually limited to the show and, at most, a specific campaign), Tropic of C when they release a collection and the occasional paid promo for Alo, there isn’t really much else going on. Ali could do a much better job as her agent.

One might say that it looks like (Candice's team) is laying the groundwork in case the relationship, after having caused such a media stir, ends soon. And well, after all, that's what the people on Candice's public relations team/agency are there to do: make sure she always comes out looking good in the press. “Candice and Tom have broken up? The modeling world is very cruel (though it’s true that it’s a little less so now) to models who are getting older, approaching or past 40 (for example, I feel like the industry is forgetting about Alessandra a bit). I hope her bikini brand is bringing in a lot of money for her, though I don’t know how she’s doing. A relationship with an A-list celebrity from the U.S. certainly doesn’t hurt her in terms of fame and the opportunity to capitalize on that fame to make money. I’m not saying she started dating him as part of some calculated, strategic move (it’s not like Brady is a 65-year-old billionaire with no physical appeal, I can understand why she might genuinely like him), but maybe she has shifted some priorities or is more open to certain things because she wants to keep making money, and if that means dealing with the paparazzi more often for a while… so be it.

The truth is that even though many people have an overly purist and idealized view of her, it wouldn't hurt Candice to be seen with Brady. She isn't exactly a super-famous celeb in the United States, neither is she, nor is any model of her generation, except perhaps for the nepo-babies like Kendall or the Hadids. Models, unfortunately, no longer enjoy the same level of fame they did in the ’90s. And she has a swimwear brand, which is currently in the midst of promoting its new collection. I’m not saying she’s enjoying this situation (because she never , or causing it, but it definitely doesn’t hurt her, and the people who work with her and make money off of her being as famous as possible are certainly loving all of this, like Ali. Now the paparazzi will definitely be interested in snapping her, that photo of her kissing Brady is worth money. Before? Well, it’s not like it was of great interest to the mainstream to see a South African supermodel with no known super-famous boyfriend strolling down the street in Miami.
