November 8, 20204 yr Oh, they're making lists now. AOC even calls for collaboration: The washington posts wants lists too: I guess these people don't remember who made lists in the past.
November 8, 20204 yr Andrew Yang has a very interesting analysis. Quote Andrew Yang tears into the Democrats for becoming a party of 'urban coastal elites' who have abandoned the working class and are more concerned with 'policing cultural issues' after their dismal results https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8922985/Andrew-Yang-leads-Democrats-tearing-party-turning-urban-coastal-elite.html Of course, the mobs on Twitter (aka the pro-censorship platform) are attacking him, but if these twitter mobsters went beyond their primal instincts, they'd see that he has a very good point.
November 8, 20204 yr That does look like purges.... https://thepostmillennial.com/new-blacklist-of-trump-sycophants-inspired-by-aoc-being-compiled These people are horrible and twitter doesn't consider it a call for hate and discrimination?
November 9, 20204 yr ^ Ultimately, Twitter (and facebook) is the one who won the election. This blue-bird platform is disgusting. They censor anyone that disagrees with their ideologies, and they invent all sorts of pretexts to do it (like "hate speech", the other name of "wrongthink"), but: - nutcases who say: "we should erradicate men", like a famous Parisian city councillor = totally fine - psychotic writers who say "I hate all men, we will lock them", like a famous French author = wonderful, she's so progressive - people who make lists, who threaten, who dox = all good, as long as they've the "good ideology" I despise our times and it's getting worse. Such a clown world.

I guess we're all mentally ill somehow, or have been, or will be one day (with various degrees of course). Just like our body can be ill (or let's say "dented"), our mind can be dented too (at various degrees). BTW, there's a really good psychologist called J. Haidt, that says our minds need to be challenged and encounter hardships (at small doses, not too much), in order to become more resilient. He compares it to the immune system. Spoiler Anyway, as much as I believe in individuals, I think that societal issues can generate mental problems. PC culture, cancel culture or witch hunts (that some people are promoting it right now) are generating tremendous stress in society. If I was an American politician (and I'm neither American nor a politican ), I would talk about the opioid crisis, drug abuse, depression... they keep growing and it shows that something isn't completely right. Solidarity, help, selflessness and a common goal are maybe missing. Anyway, don't worry, I'm just another random guy rambling on, on the internet.

And you need it because you disagreed with your Lyft driver about the windows. He wanted them down (to protect you from covid) and you wanted them up (because you see yourself as an privileged citizen). Sanctimony, hypocrisy. Everything is fine in the city of Portland.
