The dress was first custom made by Jason Wu for Lily to don on CFDA and later immortalized into a collectible doll, sold out fairly quickly.

 

I loved their collab esp reading an article of Wu saying he chosed Lily to be the face of his first fragrance as he thought her features was a mix between Bianca Jagger and Audrey Hepburn.

Which is spot on.

 

To me it looks like a band-aid because of the color and the holes in it. I read that comment somewhere else and it instantly made sense to me. 

I'm glad at least you and other people liked it though. I adore Lily, but I just do not like this dress. The collectible doll is awesome though! I didn't know that. I wish they had picked a different outfit, but that is so cool Lily has her own doll! 

I had forgotten the dress, but remember it now. I get what you're saying with the dots/crystals @bump, but I love the look on her. Feels kind of classic chic to me. And that doll is hilarious and awesome! Meanwhile that ad is gorgeous. That face!  

@BAGGOT If the dots/holes weren't in the dress, I would like it a lot better. I never realized they were crystals, but on that pale of a dress, I just don't like it. If it was like a dark blue/royal purple dress or something dark, I would love the crystals. I think it would be stunning in black, but just not that nude color. And yes, the add is gorgeous, her face is so pretty. 

Very people pull off nude dresses/gowns and Lily isn't one of them ( Irina Shayklislamova is one ). I think yellow and red and purple make her eyes stand out a lot and bring more color to her. She simply sparkles more. 💎

Cabochon opal of that size and quality is rare to come by.

I agree (except the part about Irina, I don't think she's pretty so I don't think she looks good in anything, but that's just my opinion). The color I think that looks best on Lily is yellow, and I usually HATE yellow anything. She's also much more stunning in red than in nude colors or even black. I love black, but she's one of the few models that I don't like seeing in black dresses. I love when she wears black band shirts or more grunge style stuff, but when she dresses classy, I think she looks best in yellow and red, and yes even purple and that's also a color I dislike. Or some sort of blue would be pretty as well. 

 

I love the jewelry in the Bulgari video!!! Lily looks the best, but then again I don't think that Zendaya girl is pretty and the other one isn't that great either. I wish the video was just Lily, but oh well. At least she's in it and I'm sure we'll get more content from it. thanks for the post @Beehive2

I happen to like our girl in black and/or in bright colours.

Be it her street style or red carpet, any Lily fan will know how much she loves black.

 

If I were to compile all her black outfits, trust me. There's easily 10 more looks but not to bore others.

I'm not a fan of this dress ( looks like it's from Dynasty or Dallas shows 🤣 ) just look at how Lily glows in red !!!

 

 

 

And even more so in this ( to quote Lily ) " GORGEOUS " yellow gown at the Bvlgari event in Capri last year !

 

Lily does pull off the "rock and roll Angel" title very well. She likes Rage Against the Machine, Nirvana, and System of a Down just to name a few. Her and I would be such good friends LOL. 

 

The yellow one is pretty, that's very class. I remember seeing that for the first time and liking it. I'll have to find some pictures of dresses of hers I like and ones I don't care for so much. I love when we all share pictures of our favorites and least favorites because I like getting to see what you guys think of her outfits and her work.

It's one of my favorite Met Gala efforts: Avant-garde was the theme, I think. She went for it. The dress itself shows her figure and a bit of skin, including the shoulder and right arm, while including that massive train. (Btw, we don't comment enough on Lily's arms: they are well toned and she often uses them subtly when posing.) The boots make it, however. I love the bright red, and they showcase her legs so well. (Also, the after gala party dress--a short black number--worked great with the boots as well.) I just love the look. Here's another angle that shows that enormous train, plus one of the after dress.

I actually really like both of these looks too ! Definitely edgy looks for Lily, she seems to usually choose more classic " glam " looks for events and the red carpet. I think her hair could've been more creative/edgy, but the veil and the boots bring OOOMPH and take it to the next level. The boots really elongate her legs ( not to criticize but Lily is one of the shorter models ) and red makes them pop. I love the after party look which is essentially an Off White t-shirt. All in all Lily came off really modern in these two looks.
