September 11, 200519 yr ^^no he isnt <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, that what the post said when I posted it. Should have updated it. Anyway, Mayweather is fighting SOMEBODY ON THAT DATE!!! However, its more than likely if that he stays at 140, its gonna be Junior Witter. :yuckky: Witter is ranked the No.#1 contender by the WBC, and in october they can make Witter the Mandatory challenger to Mayweather's WBC crown. Hatton is gonna fight the WBA champ Maussa(EASY WIN FOR HATTON). and Cotto is facing a nobody later this month. But get this, even though Erik Morales got schooled by Zahir Raheem last night, Morales-Pacquiao II is STILL GOING DOWN!!! http://www.fightnews.com/fightnews_2/headl...EFyXaPwiYE.html
November 27, 200519 yr HATTON UNIFIES WBA AND IBF BELTS!! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/4474910.stm
January 8, 200619 yr Ahh, Zab Judah lost to Carlos Baldomir!!! http://boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=007612 And to think, he was gonna fight Floyd Mayweather next. I so wanted Mayweather TO TAP THAT ASS!!! Edited January 8, 200619 yr by k_dub
March 5, 200619 yr yay!! Calzaghe totally whooped Lacy to unidy the supermiddleweight belts not bad for a "slapper"
May 7, 200619 yr De La Hoya knocked out Mayorga in the six round. De La Hoya showed he still got something. Not a real sports fan but the fight was pretty exciting
May 7, 200619 yr I was plesantly surprised by Oscar's performance. I knew that he was gonna beat Mayorga, but I didn't think he was gonna do it SO EASILY!!! I thought that DLH would stick and move, take Mayorga to the later rounds, then KO HIM. However, he went toe to toe to prove to Mayorga he is just as tough, if not tougher. He boxing skills took care of the rest. He threw fewer punches, but when he threw, he connected and connected HARD!!! De La Hoya going to the body, connecting with those VICIOUS LEFT HOOKS!!! He got some good right hands in there as well. However, nobody brought up Oscar's DEFENSE!!! <_< I noticed that DLH was making Mayorga miss, and he was blocking most of Mayorga punches with his gloves. I love when boxers put their skills to the test and take OUT A SHIT TALKER!!! :hell yea!:  Both Mayorga and Vargas talked too much, and DLH made them pay IN THE RING, WHERE IT COUNTS!!! I doubt that Oscar will fight the winner of Mosley-Vargas ll. Oscar and Shane are friends, and now business partners. Plus, with Vargas, he has been there and done that. I also seriously doubt he would wanna fight Winky Wright. He never wanted to fight Winky in THE FIRST PLACE!!! NOBODY DID!!! Winky got mad skills, and he makes good fighters looke silly. Look what he did to Mosley. Look what he did to TRINIDAD!!! Best bet: Oscar De La Hoya vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. The Golden Boy vs. the Pretty Boy. That fight would make the most money, and despite Mayweather's mad skills, he will be slower and less powerful at 154. I feel that at 154, Floyd will probably bite off more that he can chew. I think Oscar would win that fight. Edited May 7, 200619 yr by k_dub
July 16, 200618 yr "Sugar" Shane Mosley beat Fernando Vargas LAST NIGHT!!! :hell yea!: Fernando is done, Shane rejuvenated his career. BIG TIME!!! Had a feeling that Shane would take him OUT!!! Shane wanted to beat Vargas for the 2nd time and better than the 1st time, AND HE DID IT!!! To tell you the truth, I didn't think Vargas was gonna BEAT THE COUNT!!!
August 13, 200618 yr "Sugar" Shane Mosley beat Fernando Vargas LAST NIGHT!!! :hell yea!: Fernando is done, Shane rejuvenated his career. BIG TIME!!! Had a feeling that Shane would take him OUT!!! Vargas ain't done but well that was a good fight.
November 12, 200618 yr The Baldomir vs. Mayweather fight was a yawner I wanted to see a fight Well, you're IN LUCK!!! Manny Pacquiao and Erik Morales will go at it a 3rd time on Nov. 18th. Whenever these two fight, you know you're gonna be ENTERTAINED!!! I've been a fan for Morales a long time, so I'll be rooting for him. However, I believe that Pacquiao will win by late round TKO.
November 21, 200618 yr Damn, Pacquiao took out Morales in 3!!! Maybe all those wars Morales had has taken a toll on him. I think it is time for him to retire. Thanks for all the memories, Erik.
January 9, 200718 yr Pacquiao is just fucking crazy its hard to beat crazy Tyson was crazy, too. He still got schooled. Pacquiao is one of the best P4P boxers right now, but he has lost 3 times in his career. Juan Manuel Marquez gave the blueprint on beating him. Marquez would have won their fight if he didn't get knocked down 3 times in the 1st round. Anyway, Pacquiao is having some contract problems right now that need to be settled in court. So, in the meantime, Marquez is gonna face another tough Mexican in Marco Antonio Barrera. That should be a pretty entertaining fight.
March 3, 200718 yr Boxing is BACK!!! Tonight, Miguel Cotto is fighting Oktay Urkal for the WBA welterweight title. Later this month on March 17th, Marco Antonio Barrera is fighting Juan Manuel Marquez for the WBA super featherweight title. Who ever wins the Barrera-Marquez fight is in line for a 2nd fight against MANNY PACQUIAO!!!
March 13, 200718 yr It is Monday, and I can't wait for the weekend to COME!!! The reason for that is because, on HBO PPV, Marco Antonio Barrera will be fighting Juan Manuel Marquez!!! :lullaby: Both are from Mexico City, both have a lot to prove. Plus, when you have 2 Mexicans in the ring with each other, more often than not, it will be ENTERTAINING!!! Both men are good boxers, but Marquez goes in there with a game plan, and sticks to it. Barrera can be technical when he needs to be, but he will brawl if he feels he is a class above the fighter he is facing. All in all, I have no idea who is gonna win. I'm not particularly rooting for either one. Either way, the winner will be facing MANNY PACQUIAO NEXT!!!
