Now that Ale is gone, either Adriana shoots solo or:

A) She's paired with Lily and plays the funny daughter: She looks about 20 years younger than her.

B) She's paired with any of the others and gets to play Grandmother. That's as bad as a porn script can get.

 

Jokes aside, why should she still be an angel? She doesn't work. She's household name but is she selling anything based on her name? I get it that people would (maybe) buy a bra because they saw Adriana Lima in it but... would they buy a bra from a company just because she's their (completely) invisible spokesperson?

Since we're already doing all the pre-show talk 

 

 

I think Adriana will walk this year and get a proper send-off, same as Alessandra whose contract ended earlier last year but they still agreed to have her walk one last show so she could have a decent goodbye, I think it'll be the same with Adriana. Lily i think will also walk one last show but not get a send-off in it, she'll get an IG post like Doutzen and Karlie.

I have a lot of models to look into!! From the ones that I do know....

 

For the VSFS, I would LOVE: 

1) Barbara P!! (she's my #1, everyone after this is in no particular order)

Gigi- she's too skinny now, but I still like her

Bella- I loved her attitude on the runway

Lameka- super cute

Georgia-she's a filler, but decent enough

Shanina- please bring her back!!!

Jourdan D- super sexy and great sass

Bruna Lirio- annoying but cute

Cindy Bruna- love how grateful she is! and she's pretty

Aiden Curtiss- surprisingly good 

Megan W- filler but worth the spot

Irina- I think she's ugly but she is a bombshell and VS needs that

Karlie-hated her as a VS Model/angel but good for teh show

Doutzen- i wish they'd bring her back but I know they won't

Blanca Padilla- yes please!!! she is beautiful and graceful

Leomie- one of my favorites in the past years! so much fun!

Sanne Vloet- a filler, but good enough. feminine and pretty

Gizele  O- She's pretty and I really liked her after the fall incident

Nadine- filler but cute, she should stay in PINK

Roosmarijn De Kok- she's cute, I would like to see more from her

Victoria Lee- I had to look her up, I don't remember her in the VSFS but she is pretty!!!

 

 

 

 

For the VSFS I would HATE:

Alexina- snobby attitude and ugly face

Bregje- can't stand her face or walk

Constance J- cant stand her face

Daniela Braga- double EW

Kelsey Merrit- boring

Martha- worst angel ever

STella- she does not look like a model

Barbara F- one of the least pretty faces/bodies I've had the misfortune to see

Cara D- she seems super cool but not for VS

Kasia Struss- idk, i just don't like her

Robin H-expressionless and unattractive face

Jourdana Philips- nothing special, wouldn't waste a spot on her

Kelly Gale-I appreciate how hard she worked, but she looked so boxy and her abs scare me

Izabel- her abs scare me more than anything

Alexis Ren- used to be beautiful, has ruined anything she had going for her, wtf??

Grace Bol- boring

 

I know some of these are a long shot and not going to happen (Doutzen, Jourdan probably...) but I thought I'd include them just because.

Yeah i think this year probably will be Adri last show and Lily’s too maybe.

candice obviously will still work for VS

not sure about Behati but i think she will continue with VS at least until her contract end

EDIT: Grace and Zuri don't seem to be done with PINK just yet, so I'm willing to bet that they're returning. Maggie's confident post seems to allude to her somehow moving up in the PINK world, so she might be a spokesmodel now. If that's the case, they all must be in the PINK segment pool.

All three of the girls I mentioned were spotted in London earlier this summer around the buildings that Sophia seems to plan fittings in. Barbara, Cindy, and Devon were similarly seen last year a little bit earlier in the year, but that would be expected, seeing how China was more of an earlier starting time. Sui He and Dilone were later revealed to have been there as well in the Making of the VSFS videos.

Wasn't Sui there because of her bodysuit, tho? That one was probably tailored to her from the start, so she'd probably need to have several fittings...

^Whoa, Josephine does not look good in that commercial. I had to replay it 3 times before I was sure it was her...unless it's not and I'm blind. 

Alexina didn't look as bad as she normally does but that's probably because the clips were so brief. The other girl is Lameka, right? she's ok but overall that commercial is boring just like everything else VS is putting out these days. 

 

.......I'm still shocked by how bad Jo looks in that commercial...Normally I think she's cute, never beautiful because I think she has a weird face and it's a bit lumpy and off center, but I still like her because of her enthusiasm and that makes her cute to me. This time, ew no..

Vanessa Moody, Alexina Graham, Roosmarijn de Kok, Dilone and Maggie Laine all need to NEVER return. All horrible and painful to watch.

 

New faces I hope will get casted are the black Barbie dolls Duckie Thot and Senait Gidey, also I’m really interested in what Adut Akech Bior will bring to the show, she’s quite stunning and I’d prefer her look over Grace Bol who is too HF for VS...

Barbara Palvin, Yasmin Wijnaldum, Zhenya Katava, Frederikke Sofie, Roos Abels, Teddy Quinlivan and Cara Taylor would all also be my ideal models for this year. I live Cara’s androgynous look and she can pull off “sexy” better than that 12 yo boy Dilone... 

I would like to see Damaris Goddrie in the Pink section, she would fit perfectly.

I honestly don't care who's in the show. I just need the segments and outfits to be GOOD and not recycled crap.

This year the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show will be either a go big or go home. Nobody is interested in watching it other than the actual fans and it isn’t that important anymore (ratings and viewership at an all time low). They need to: 1) cast better models to walk who don’t look like 12 year olds 2) come up with interesting runway look ideas, less but extravagant wings, more lingerie, no costumes...because since 2015, the whole show has been just one TRAGIC giant costume party.

 

+ less models (40 MAX) but models that COUNT and no unknown singers that don't bring anything great. Also...BRING BACK THE REMIXES. But we know VS never listens so this rant is useless lol

There’s insiders stating that Miley Cyrus (YUCK!) and Ariana Grande will perform this year. I don’t mind Ariana since her new album has songs with good runway walk vibes. I can def see her performing No Tears Left to Cry and God is a Woman. 

Ariana singing God is a Woman would be AMAZING. Like her or not, that song is so theatrical and her vocals are incredibly sensual-sounding. Whoever is in charge of booking the performers would not be sorry for snagging Ariana with this bop. The non-chorus parts make for a perfect walking-pace and the first initial rhythm transition and ending of the song make for perfect opening and closing. I could see this being the finale song and having a Fantasy Bra or an angel with huge wings close the whole show.
