VS will hold a swimwear fashion show 1hr special March next year that will feature performances by Maroon 5 and Juanes, and will show the angels and models filming in different locations in Puerto Rico. It'll air on CBS.

 

^ They're most likely filming for an upcoming commercial/pr and "backstage/behind the scenes" video to air on CBS

 

 

Ok yeah that makes sense. They have peaked my interest so let's see how this unfolds.

Really sad to hear Such a pity they never utilized her as much as they could have, and should have. She had so much potential but they always put focus on many other girls, I'm going to miss her a lot (considering she's my fave).

Someone on Instagram made a valid point that now that she doesn't do VS, she can get a Calvin Klein contract which seems like it could happen considering she's the face of their fragrance and has worked with them previously.

Not surprised that Doutzen is leaving, but it honestly seems like a smart move. She's outgrown the brand, and VS had never seemed to put the effort in to have her stay. She'll have plenty of opportunities now, not to mention that I think she wants to focus on her family now.

TBH that Candice fan does make a valid point though, if they really wanted her to stay they could have reworked her contract to appeal to her but nah, they want to go ahead and make M+J Angels so ain't nobody got time for that. But I think she'll do great without them because she's anyway the girl with the best career out of the current line up in the brand. Contracts will come swinging her way (if she's mentioned she's had other offers from other lingerie brands I'd be interested to see who they are, I do think CK is likely, she'd fit well with La Perla's image so I think they are a potential, not sure whether AP would seek her?). I'm just hoping for the best for her in all honesty. 

I understand that VS could have kept Doutzen, if they wanted to, but they clearly didn't want to. She's never been a front runner for the brand, and that fan is acting like it's the end of the company that she chose to leave. I think we're all in agreement that Doutzen will be just fine without VS, and VS will...be VS.

 

I think I might be the only person not totally against Jasmine for an Angel. Maybe I'm just so desperate to see a WOC in the line up, but I think Jasmine is gorgeous. I don't know much of her personality though, so maybe I'll change my mind.

I think they should try using Maria Borges more in their catalogue work. She's got so much potential and I think she'd fit in really well, she's just got something special about her.

What's with Jasmine’s personality?

Ok so while we wait for the actual confirmation from VS about this big project. If it is indeed a Swim Fashion Show how do people want it to be? Like segments wise or models wise etc. If the musical acts are true at least there is only two acts. But it will be interesting to see how VS do it. If the format will be the same as the lingerie show. Six segments, 40+ models, wings etc or if it's something else.

 

I hope that a Swim show would at least be different to the lingerie show. Maybe less girls. More focus on the Angels. But it seems that March is not that far if they are doing an actual fashion show then there is no hype at all just yet. They would have had to book a venue already. So who knows.

After all, I think Ed really cares about the girls and love them. And yes, no one will ever take Doutzen's place and I'm gonna miss her as an angel

Dourzen is smart to leave VS, I am glad she didn't end up like Heidi, Dri, or Ale. hope to see new things from her. I done with VS, I could careless about them.

So they are apparently doing a VS Swim fashion show and shooting around PR for the actual catalogue shoots + segments to be shown during the show I am guessing.

 

Since it is a VS event and promotional campaign it allows Ale to do it as a requirement in the angel contract even though she does not have a Swim contract?

 

Lily A is in Rio right now but I haven't seen anything else about them shooting in Brazil and from the PR things I've read Brazil was never mentioned as a location they are shooting, maybe she is just on vacation?
