That's why I thought Behati got it because she said its been a big year for her and there was one big surprise she couldn't talk about before.

I heard that too but I didn't take that seriously. Not in regards to the FB because it could be anything.

 

And she said that before they usually shoot for the FB.

 

I didn't jump on the behati bandwagon because you never know with those bras. Sure VS had some of its predictable moments but it also had its moments where you aren't as sure about it.

 

Like this year, Adriana and candice going to london to talk about this year's VSFS. Knowing candice wouldn't get the FB this year but could possibly open. And also knowing Adriana wouldn't be opening anymore but she was still there. I mean they used behati's outfit as the british center piece, but still didn't chose her to go.

 

I think if what she said is true, then she probably just accidentally corrected him. Like not thinking about you aren't suppose to hit to anything yet. Because I know this isn't the first time adriana let it a bit obvious who was going to wear the fb lol

^Yeah, she blabbed way early the first time she wore it and the second time she basically told me she was wearing it. She probably doesn't consider it a big thing anymore like some of the other girls would.

Well I'd prefer it Adriana over Behati anyways or Lily deserves one but I thought Behati because they have been promoting Behati and even giving her and her upcoming wedding attention and having her do late night with Alessandra and more events this year that they were pushing hard to have her in a starring role for them. Then she mentioned she had a big surprise she couldn't talk about so I just figured she was going to do it.

 

I don't think there are many other choices besides those 3 from their angels since they've seldom worked with half of them this year and Candice just had it.

Karlie has been branching out lately. She worked with Nike in a campaign that was very similar to VSX stuff and has been more events and editorials this year then VS shoots or campaigns.

 

They even sent Alessandra to Chicago for the store event over Karlie who is from there so I don't know how that relationship is going lately. She seems more interested in hanging out with Taylor Swift.

Adriana has walked the show a thousand times, opened a hundred times and wore the FB twice already for the show + one in national TV (sorry Candice) ... Pretty sure that if she got the FB again this year it's just another day in the office for her, plus in 2008 she spoiled the news early too and nothing happened

 

Since the London event it's been pretty obvious to me she got it. She was literally the one who announced the whole thing while Ed & Candice were sitting there doing nothing, she went a and did PR alone in London before that, first & only Angel to go there, then she goes MIA from VS for basically all of 2014 and comes back just for the Holiday shoots.

 

I sincerely hope that if she got the FB and it will be super expensive and cute, let her open the show with it and give the woman a farewell, she's been there long enough and as a fan of Adriana 2014 has been the most refreshing year ever because she's worked like twice for VS but did so many other jobs that it makes me desperately want her to leave VS.

I think it's not weird if she announced it earlier and without VS, it's not such big deal these days and especially cause it's her 3rd,almost every year we find out earlier who got FB,2011 when Miranda got it I think was also said very early and published in some magazine (?) i can't remember , 2012 Todd revealed. VS knows who promotes them best.

Karlie's from St. Louis, Missouri, but I agree. Not as much VS for her lately, and the Nike campaign makes me curious because with VSX that's a direct competitor essentially. Her contract must not be extremely exclusive.

^ The uncanny resemblance between the Nike and VSX stuff is not good for Karlie. I read a story once on how a model somewhere in Asia modelled for two service providers and ended up getting sued since they were competitors. If it was for a brand under Limited Brands maybe Karlie could have gotten away with it, but considering this is the main competitor for the VSX line I'm thinking that it won't be good for VS at all (or her for that matter).

How?  Candice had I think at least 3 Fantasy Bra events, went on Good Morning America, Ellen, had a replica fantasy bra set made and VS was basically kissing her ass all over social media at the time. Adriana I think did either 1 or two events with it overseas, and wore a fake one for a TV show that didn't get as much attention as Candice. Literally every website I went on had "Candice and her Fantasy Bra!" articles on it at the time. Pretty sure Candice promoted it more.

 

Plus if we're talking about Fantasy Bra for this year, I'm naturally sure everybody would want Doutzen to get it, but that isn't happening so I'd prefer it to be Adriana or Lily. (Adriana's gotten lots of attention this year, and I think her contract is up next year so it's a nice way to part, Lily got SI). If Behati gets it, it will anyways be a complete flop. Public isn't obsessed with her, she's not got the power to pull of a fantasy bra and that's my honest opinion.

Has Karlie ever worked for VSX, though? I know Candice, Lindsay, Doutzen, Alessandra, Lily and Adriana have but IDR Karlie ever doing anything with them.

Doutzen has a beauty contract with L'Oréal, VS does beauty products but Doutzen has never modeled for VS beauty and naither party seems to mind, so maybe it's just that Karlie isn't affiliated to VSX, like how some PINK girls don't do regular VS and so on. I still don't see Karlie lasting very long but it could be normal.
